I feel incredibly lucky that this industry has brought so many beautiful people into my life, and Briana is absolutely one of them. Even though we’ve only known each other for about a year, I’ve learned so much from her — not only about this industry and our craft, but about myself through the conversations, encouragement, and perspective we’ve shared.

There’s something really special about days like this, when knowledge and sisterhood come together. Getting to learn from one another, pour into one another, and walk away feeling inspired to keep growing is one of my favorite parts of this industry.

Sometimes everything lines up in life for a good adventure. My friend @torilinder needed a car delivered to Bozeman at the same time I needed to deliver paintings to @visionswestcontemporary for an upcoming group show.
Along the way I was able to paint, fish, and wander with friends. From seeing @johnnycakesdefeo majestic coyote head house to painting the rio grande. To finding some Miami friends at delicate arch at sunset. To meeting up with @leakywaders @wadingwithwhitney floating the primordial Green in Wyoming. Once again, the West flooded my heart with wonder, fish fossils, and embrace. I finally made it to Montana, car and paintings entact. I foraged Morels with @ashleysienna and planned a hike to the alpine lake in the Tobacco Root mountains with @torilinder and company where I was greeted by a pleathora of cutthroat trout and dreams of grizzly bears. I found Montana the hardest to leave, but my paintings will stay a lil while.

The show opens this friday @visionswestcontemporary in Bozeman where I will be showing in Sage and Stardust: Cosmic echoes in the wilderness amongst artsists @johnnycakesdefeo @kat_kinnick @mollyschulps
The show will be up til August 8th.
