Thank you to everyone who joined us last Saturday for ‘Notes on Light,’ our inaugural exhibition at Antonio Urrutia Art’s new permanent space. It meant so much to celebrate this opening with our artists, friends, collectors, and neighbors.

Featuring paintings by Tikal Smildiger @tikaluchis , sculptural installations by Denise Treizman @denisetreizman , and photography by Samuel Urrutia @samuelurrutiam , ‘Notes on Light’ explores light in its physical and spiritual forms. Across three practices, light becomes a way to think about perception, transformation, and the limits of what we can see. The works invite us to consider how something so familiar can shape our understanding of the world while leaving so much beyond our reach.

The gallery is open Wednesday–Saturday, 11 AM–5 PM, or by appointment.

📍 Antonio Urrutia Art
1288 NW 29th Street, Miami, FL 33142

If you missed the opening, join us next Wednesday, October 28, 6-9 PM, for Allapattah Night: an evening of art and community in Allapattah. Where we welcome you to exhibitions and special programming throughout the neighborhood!

A closer look @brianbattstudios | A painter renowned for his hyper-realistic and pixelated portraits, Brian Batt seeks balance between creativity and life’s natural beauty in his Miami surroundings. His paintings appear in prominent collections, including those of John Krasinski and Reese Witherspoon.

Brian Batt’s latest floral work ‘Italian Poppies,’ oil on canvas, will be on view at our ‘Art in Bloom’ show this Friday, 4/24. RSVP for opening night via 🔗 in bio.

We 💙 our henri pin that comes on all of our KIDDO o/s cardigans!! Back story: I knew I needed an homage to the love of my life and asked my bff who happens to be an amazing artist @brianbattstudios to make a pin! So I gave him a photo of Henri when I first got him and we ended up on a sailboat. Love the photo to sketch to completion for a tribute! ⛵️ 🐕

The film is back! A recap of our Chef Club Series featuring @xniniogordomiax in partnership with Miami Pool House

We teamed up with one of Miami’s newest hot spots & #34 of Latin America’s 50 best, Niño Gordo, to cook a feast celebrating Japanese, Korean, and Southeast Asian techniques layered over the fire and flair of Argentina.

The dinner included a curation of the chef’s favorite items: squid & curry dumplings, hamachi with bell peppers and katsusandos, a DJ set by @cristianjimenz and unique décor that brings the restaurant’s Asian ethos to life.

We had the best time hosting our friends and meeting some new faces! We’ll be hosting these on a quarterly basis to be on the lookout for the next one.
