Pretty sure this is the Double Ditch in Albuquerque in ‘00. I did maybe two trips to Albuquerque with @briancastillo? We were on a lot of trips together over the years, so they tend to blend. You really get to know people when you sit in cars with them for hours on end. Brian would play music I didn’t like, loudly laugh at his own jokes, stick to a BRC diet, and get annoyed really easily. And it was awesome. Yes, he’s crazy, but so am I. We all are. I remember making the trek from Orange County to Albuquerque one time with Brian, staying at a crappy hotel by the skatepark, and waking up to snow on the ground. All you can do is laugh. On a side note, some Albuquerque locals once told me that if you see a trickle of water coming down the ditch, get out, because a wall of water is coming. I don’t know how true that is, but I’ve been watching for water in ditches ever since. #bmx #loseyphoto

This was the perfect way to pass a Sunday in the ‘90s with @briancastillo. Wouldn’t be bad today either. #bmx #bmxplus #loseyphoto

August dump. This month felt super long -a couple of trips to Mexico, a trip to Salt Lake, a ton of birthdays, and a little bit of BMX.
Mandatory stop on the way to Salt Lake from LA. Quick little dip on my way to Tony Hawk’s Vert Alert.

After the last day of Vert Alert I had about 30 minutes of sunlight left, so I packed up quick and ripped over to this full pipe to get a couple of carves in before leaving town.

Just a few older BMXers watching some younger BMXers BMX.

I got to take Luna to a Benson Boone concert which, by the way, was beyond epic. What a show he put on.

Here he is doing a side flip off the piano.

Michelle turned 28 again. Birthday dinner for this gorgeous creature.

Mandatory stop at Chick & Hawks on the way home from Mexico.

The playas.

One of the greatest people I know. Alberto Crane and his family have created such a wonderful community here in Burbank with Legacy Jiu-Jitsu, Acai Jungle Café, and Revive.

I went to school with all three of these guys at some point, but I hadn’t seen or heard from them in 30 years. Steve’s wife reached out and asked if I’d come surprise him for his 50th birthday. It was great to see everybody. Steven and I used to ride bikes a lot in junior high and high school. He was probably one of my closest riding buddies in the ‘90s.

In the locker room at Vert Alert with some of the crew.

My favorite juice in Burbank, Bone Juice

The last couple of years I’ve helped out on the social team for Tony Hawk’s Vert Alert, basically as an online commentator for Instagram stories and creating some of the content that comes out. It’s always a blast to hang out with everybody for the weekend. It’s something I really enjoy.

I have no words.

Teenager.

Tom Green being Tom Green. What a wonderful human to be around.

I celebrated my birthday this month too. This is the first photo with my new iPhone. Thx Michelle

Big crew dinner after Vert Alert. So many legends in this photo, so many great stories to hear.

Demo ender — triples with Tony, Sandro, and Andy.

The other day I was back at my high school pedaling around with some guys and realize that that is kind of word all started. Back in 1993, roughly I jumped this roof gap after @jeremy_wray have been doing it on a skateboard. We both went to high school there.. which is kind of where it all began. Here’s a quick roadmap \ look back at the infamous La Habra roof gap.. thanks @gbradmcdonald for that epic 360 Photo and @marklosey and team for the Bmx Plus ones. Castillo rolled up just in time to be comedy relief #teambronco_ambassador

JULY PHOTO DUMP - captions for each slide

Was stoked to come meet up with Van Homan, Darryl, and Calvin and ride for a few minutes at a spot. I’ve been riding for over 30 years, and this spot will always have a special place in my heart.

Spent the Fourth of July at the East Ivy Mansion here. Michelle ,Scott and I got a picture taken with some real-life unicorns. Really great time and great people. Thanks, @edclayofficial for a wonderful weekend

My trusty BRONCO. Early July e-bike rip. #teambronco_ambassador

End-of-summer annual Raging Waters run with the Wrays. Always a good time.

Mid e-bike rip with my hetero lifemate Brian Flexing everything he’s got.

The most beautiful woman in the world modeling with the best toothbrush in the world. @discoversuri

Just another day at CPI.

Got to take Luna on her first warped tour, which is pretty cool. Introduced her to Lagwagon. She was pretty hyped to go on stage and watch a band.

Michelle was all about the animals at the East Ivy Mansion. Chilling here with a sweet kangaroo.

Solo breakfast in Playas before heading into the TAM center.

Gabe’s birthday bash with some of the boys. Always great to see everybody and hear everybody’s doing so good.

Midday party at the top of Laurel canyon. What a beautiful view and also the background is good too.

Mid e-bike rip with Castillo, taking a break because he’s a supreme athlete and I needed a rest.

All day, every day. I probably said something incredibly cutting edge funny and she probably wasn’t impressed, per usual.

Fufanu for the 11000th time in my life at the Banks with a council of kings.

Mandatory late night Sliders stop at our favorite ice cream place.

Waiting for a plane in Nashville to head home while Michelle reads scripts and I’m being creepy.

It was so hot in Nashville while we were there, but before the Fourth of July party Michelle and I got out to downtown Nashville and walked around a bit. Pretty beautiful.

Proof that I can ride my bike a little for more than one frame on Instagram.

THIS… all day

Congratulations to @jeremy_wray . Honestly one of the most deserving skateboarders from the ’90 to receive the honor of being inducted into the @skateboardinghalloffame

Jeremy and I grew up together through high school, and there was definitely a period where we pushed each other in our respective sports. For me at least, I know I fed off the creativity, style, and raw power Jeremy brought to skateboarding. There a photo near the end of us jumping the La Habra roof gap together that ended up in an @airwalk catalog.

Pretty cool that all these years later we’re still friends, and I got to be there to watch him get inducted into the Hall of Fame. What a night. Surrounded by a few other high school friends, family and my buddy Brian Castillo, who also grew up in the same neighborhood as Jeremy, it really brought everything full circle.

Big shout out to the @skateboardinghalloffame for putting on such a great night. Shout out to childhood hero @frankiehill1 . And the biggest shout out of the night goes to Jobo.. @jonaswray

We love you, man. We miss you. You were there with us last night. Hell yeah Jeremy!
