Ahead of Leave The Light On’s release this Friday, we’re sharing a few alternate cover concepts from the design process. Before landing on the final direction, we explored several visual approaches for the album’s promotional art.

This second concept pulled from our Spring ’25 silhouette photoshoot. The backlight in each image echoed the album’s central idea of light, and the individual headshots were combined into a single visual composition. While this concept didn’t become the final cover, the silhouette elements remained part of the conversation and were later incorporated into the Herter Hall artwork.

Ahead of Leave The Light On’s release this Friday, we’re sharing a few alternate cover concepts from the design process. Before landing on the final direction, we explored several visual approaches for the album’s promotional art.

This first concept was inspired by the pool table games played in the weeks leading up to recording. We pulled visual cues from that setting and built an early cover direction around it. The cover was a departure from where we ultimately landed, but elements from this exploration carried forward and helped shape the visual language of the back cover.
