Our first show of the season kicked off with Loosely Scripted & Friends presenting Pluto’s Demotion! 🪐

We got a glimpse into the breakroom for all the celestial bodies that aren’t planets — built entirely from audience suggestions! And to top it all off, we even had a special guest appearance by Uranus. ✨

What a special trip, teaching my Meisner for Improvisers workshop in gorgeous Amsterdam. Thank you to @boomchicago for having me, and thank you to all the improvisers who took part for being so open, bold and playful!

After a three-hour workshop with the incredible Boom cast, I spent two days working with a talented group of improvisers, honing the skills of seeing clearly (even the smallest offers) and living truthfully under imaginary circumstances. And we got to do knock on the door scenes on a stage with an actual door 🚪 😍

I’m loving doing this work, merging my background and training in both acting and improvising, and really seeing how it pays off when we find truth in comedy. I’m excited to keep developing my approach, and Im looking forward to taking the work further afield.

Thanks also to Conor Boru for accompanying me at the last minute and making the trip even more fun!
