In my art collection a sketch of the character “Holli Would” (by @stevenegordon ) from the animated film Cool World by @ralph_bakshi .
.
Funny little story about this sketch. I had mentioned on @ralph_bakshi’s Instagram that I had a sketch by one of the animators and @jonodoiron asked me if it was done by Steven E. Gordon .. being I’m bad with names I checked my collection and yes it is by Steven E. Gordon who my friend @briankolm introduced me too at Big Wow back in 2015.

Just a reminder, we’re doing a showcase of #sixfanarts this Friday, 4/16. If you have a new set you’d like to show off (or one from last year we haven’t already shared) send it our way!

If you still want to do some sketches this week but need character suggestions, just let us know and we’d be happy to provide some prompts!

This next character is NOT an alien, thank you very much. He’s Dubbilex, the DNAlien!
Thanks to @briankolm for the suggestion

We’d be remiss in not also sending a great big THANK YOU to all the visual artists who contributed to our first ever virtual art show! You all produced some truly fabulous work, and helped make this very weird Halloween season just a little bit more magical! 🖤🎃👻

If you haven’t checked out all the pieces in full yet, you can do so on our website (link in our bio) and/or swing by our Facebook page, where we have a slideshow showcasing all the work. For quick reference though, here’s a thumbnail gallery with the artists tagged, so you can like/follow their work on their own feeds!
