Dear Ladyhorns Softball,

Thank you for letting me have the best 4 years of my life. You have taught me what true sportsmanship, leadership, teamwork, challenges, and commitment really are. I would not be the person I am today without the experience I got to have throughout highschool. Whenever I first got to HF in 8th grade, I had no idea what I was going to do. I only knew one person at the entire school and her name is Jordyn Comer. I walked in and she looked at me dead in the eyes and said,”Katy?” From then on I knew it would be ok. Then freshman year, the first practice was terrifying to say the least. I was nervous and that’s when I met Elizabith Hawkins. I really think she could run a whole orginization with the way she made us put work in from the start to the end of practice. We always talk about how she was our role model on how we needed to be our senior year and I think we did a pretty great job. Thank you to all the girls for sticking together throughout the whole season and picking each other up no matter what it took. Thank you for not getting mad at me when i get really competitive even in the simplest games. Thank you for everything.
#13 out 💙💛🤍
