Nothing like the feeling climbing up a mountain with your friends with the anticipation of the ride down.

Master mind of the annual #skatesgiving pilgrimage, @mattkienzle, always brought an epic crew together. Epic spot and session from 2013.

Throwback to the first day @skatehousemedia got our 7D and wide lens — game changer. 🎥🛹

This was one of the first sessions we filmed with it and not relying on GoPro to capture everything. No plan, no pressure, just friends out skating for a good time.

This energy is what made SkateHouseMedia what it was: good roads, good vibes, and even better homies.

It’s @brianpeck’s Birthday! To celebrate we’re throwing it back to this vintage Learn to Stop Video - Learn to Footbreak.

Happy Birthday Brian! 🥳 Love you, mean it. ❤️ We miss you, come visit! @giantsheadfreeride even just got announced!

There was a time when BP was living at @skatehousemedia, riding @paristruckco, @sector9 and Rayne and frequenting BC. Then there was a time when BP was riding @cometskateboards and frequenting BC. The time we miss if you haven’t guessed, is when BP frequented BC. There as a different vibe then. Flatspot hosted Learn To Stop Sessions weekly (sometimes twice a week in two different locations!), the @stoopskatehouse was bumpin, and there were events nearly every weekend from May until Euro-Tour and then again after. Heck there was a time when there were 5 Maryhill events in a year. Pro tip: @maryhillratz Spring Freeride was just announced go sign up! We don’t want to say that the good vibes only flowed when BP was skating BC, but there’s definitely a correlation to good times and B Peck visits. Thanks for all the good times Brian!

We’d be remiss to also not mention the appearance of Jesse Pollock. Big love for Jesse. We miss you and hope you’re shredding in peace!

Thanks to @imalexmof for making this video sometime back in the fall of 2015. Alex made a lot of Flatspot videos back in the day and his content remains some of our favourites. Shout out to @mattkienzle for the cameo and supporting the event and shop, you’re still one of our favourite skaters of all time - cast will always be fast!

Our mentors are the heartbeat to our organization and to them we give our deepest gratitude. They have been dedicated to providing the kids with joyful experiences in nature, meaningful nature-based activities, and a connection with nature that we believe will stay with them throughout the rest of their life.

This work is meaningful and requires unconditional care, love, and a healthy balance of pouring into yourself to be able to give to others. The journey of a mentor is a transformative one. One that requires you to lead from the back seat, to create a plan and then be willing to toss it to the wind. It enables the adult to invite their inner child to play and hold the safe yet wild space for the children to grow freely. We are so very lucky to have shared this space with so many skilled and talented mentors.

There have been many mentors who have passed through EverWild over the years. We tip our hats to all of you and wish you well on the trails ahead.

Thank you for sharing your time with us in the wild.

What an unreal weekend that was 😍 It started with loose plans to explore on motos with @mr_sandwich_worldwide, which got slightly derailed by a wildfire in the original area we wanted to check out. After some discussion and planning with more friends, we settled on camping in Mammoth Lakes to celebrate @sandpowellwebber’s birthday.

The crew assembled and HOLY MOLY did we enjoy ourselves! Free camping, moto rips, alpine lakes, a pontoon boat rental, the best doggos, fresh mountain air, hot spring soaks, the Perseid meteor shower, a skate cruise… We got to enjoy a little bit of everything. So much fun with the best of friends ❤️
