I love what Agent Whisperer @briansaysthat says: “Your casting profile shouldn’t just be a record of where you’ve been…. It should be a map of where you’re going. “🗺️ I love this idea from Brian Patacca because it gets at something I think actors often miss when we look at our materials: What does the evidence actually say? Your headshots, résumé, clips and reel are telling casting a story about what you can do. But what if some of the best work you’re capable of doing isn’t represented there yet? Early in my career, I was a classically trained actor coming out of NYU — but nobody looking at my résumé had proof of that range yet. So I got hired based on the evidence they did have. Actors have something now that we didn’t have nearly as easily then: We can create our own proof. That doesn’t mean making random scenes just to have more footage. It means getting strategic about what’s missing — and creating material that shows the work you want to be considered for next. That’s a huge part of what we do inside Casting DNA™: identify what your current materials already communicate, find the gaps, and develop two strategic, shoot-ready scenes designed to show abilities your existing materials don’t yet reveal. Enrollment closes Monday, September 21 at 11:59 PM PT. 🧬 Comment “DNA” or check the link in my bio to learn more!

Thank you @briansaysthat for being born and being a best friend to me for 25 years and recently having had a Big Birthday and then organizing the most amazing week in Provincetown with everyone we love. (And for being such a good sport even after breaking your wrist falling off your bike…we all love you!) It’s magical being in Ptown with your best friends. My ❤️ is full.

Your B.A.S.H. pass gets you this free resource, along with 45+ MORE from our lineup of casting directors, coaches, agents, and working actors. 🎉 My friend @act_bold is turning 60 — and instead of getting presents, she’s throwing a B.A.S.H. (Backstage Access Starts Here) where ACTORS get the gifts. All month. Free to attend. The gift table is STACKED — 45+ industry pros, including: 📸 @poyeyheadshots — the headshot photographer I’ve personally shot with, brilliant at helping actors nail their shoots 🎬 @john_frank_levey_ — casting legend of The West Wing + the whole John Wells universe ❤️ @realactorslab — Sarah Gaboury, who started me on my coaching journey 🚀 @briansaysthat — Brian Patacca, whose Agent Goals landed me my manager AND my agent My contribution to the pile: the Casting DNA PreCheck — a short, reflective questionnaire about your casting profile. I personally review it and send you a detailed report on exactly what will turn your profile into an audition magnet. Free, like everything else at this party. Some prizes are limited, so get in early. Anne and I spilled the whole story on our Live last week — replay’s pinned on both our pages. 👉 Comment BASH and I’ll DM you the link. Well... I guess it was finally time. 😄🎬 After years of commercials, it somehow took me this long to put together my very first commercial reel. Looking back through these projects reminded me how much I genuinely love this side of acting. Every set, every character, every opportunity has taught me something new, and I'm excited to keep building from here. Here's to many more stories, auditions, callbacks, and (hopefully) bookings. ✨ Representation: 🎭 @peterkallinterisagency 💃 @msaagency #CommercialReel #CommercialActor #ActorLife #WorkingActor #OnCamera

It’s been about 20 years since Stephen Ruddy first invited me to perform in @gravidwaterny @ucbtny - I think I did that first show with @briansaysthat - right Brian? Over the years, I’ve stepped into 5-10 minutes worth of some of the greatest roles from some of the greatest playwrights: Checkov, Simon, Henley … & last night the special treat of fellow @newtrierhighschoolalumni @sarah_ruhl_ 📚. I’ve met and worked with incredible actors, comedians & improvisors - making friends and sharing laughs on the last Monday of the month on the UCB stage for nearly 2 decades. About 17 years ago, I did a show while pregnant with @charliefleischer.21 (remember @theanthonyking ?🤰🏼) and though @erfleischer has long been a die hard audience member, last night - for the first time - Charlie & @izfleisch were finally able to watch this theatrical experiment come to life. It’s the most fun thing - to share something you love with people you love. 🩷 Thnx to last night’s cast & especially scene partner extraordinaire, @tamisagher for making my kids’ inaugural Gravid Water so sweet! I ❤️ NY.

FIND. YOUR. PEEPS. I got reminded this week (in the best way) that one of the most important things you can do as a business owner is find your people. Not “network.” Not “collect contacts.” But connect with the folks you can actually relate to—the ones who get what it’s like to build something from scratch, carry the decisions, and still show up when it’s hard. Sometimes that looks like: group coaching where you’re surrounded by people who speak your language joining a chamber of commerce or local community where you can build real relationships saying hi to the person at the bar… or in line at the coffee shop… because you swear you have something in common You don’t need a massive circle. You just need the right one. The one that helps you embrace your weird. Tap into your magic. And feel connected to this big bold dreams of yours. You’ve got this biz owner! PS. Big shoutout to my coach @dallastravers for putting on an incredible retreat last weekend in Portland, OR and bringing the right people into the same room. I left feeling clearer, lighter, and (honestly) way more energized about what’s next for @goodbrandpartners
