The best skate trick from the community cup. There was a lot of tricks nominated, I went with the most popular from each skater for the poll and this is what you chose. Obviously to win the community cup takes more than one moment, but it’s nice to look back and pick out the one moment that stood out the most for you. The full results video is out now be sure to check where your favourite skater placed. Who would like to see a version of the community cup for females, the youth and amateurs? #rollerblading

Rollerblading is class and I like to think the community cup was a good portrayal of that. We’ve now got in all the judges scores and feedback. There’s actually an interesting story behind that. I’ll save it for the results video which I am currently working on. You’ll have to bear with me, it might take me awhile with life and everything. last time it was over 40+ hours of scripting filming and editing but I will get there in the end. While you’re waiting go back and rewatch the vids. If you’re inclined and would like to give back to the skaters for all their effort they put in, contributions are still welcome. 100% of the fund, minus fees obviously, go to the skaters just like last time. #rollerblading

Had such a great time at @metrocardclassic and @boschipopeskateoff in NYC this weekend! It was so good hanging out with Dream riders @broomski_lst, @mickcasals, and @gothcholito, catching up with old friends, and talking with everyone who stopped by the @dreamurethane booth. Thanks to everyone who came by!

Big thanks to @sonicskates for hosting me for the weekend, and congrats on winning the Alley Cat race Friday night!

Finished off the weekend with some incredible food at @apple_blossom_nyc with Sonic. The roast duck Pad Thai was so damn good! 🤤

Rollerblading online video contest the Community Cup is, as the name suggests, driven and built by the community. As a community we nominated people for skater of the year, section of the year and trick of the year. The finalist from this public vote were then invited to take part in the community cup invitational. The community contributed to the base rate and prize fund, ensuring every skater that took part would be rewarded for their efforts. The community then decide which skaters make the podium and receive the prize money. This year we’ve had more skaters, more videos, more tricks, more ideas, more conversation, more inspiration, more contributions and more money for the skaters. The community cup continues to grow. The support and reaction so far has been incredible. Let’s not slow down here at the voting stage, let’s keep pushing. It’s important you have your say, we want the results to be a true reflection of the community and we want to honour the hard work put in. #rollerblading

How the skaters opened up their Community Cup videos, a cool look at how each one approaches skating differently. They videos have no completed their initial seven day timeframe and are temporarily down. Tomorrow morning they will all go back up again together and voting will commence on Loco Skates. There has been a lot of chat about who the winner is but if you want to see that happen you’ve got to vote. You’ll have a whole week to do it too, be active. If you’ve enjoyed the Community Cup there is an opportunity to give something back to the skaters/filmers. Let reward their efforts. Every contribution goes to the skaters. #rollerblading
