🎧 Currents - Remember Me (Lyric Video Concept)

This is one of those bands I've been listening to for so long that I honestly can't remember how I discovered them or when I first got into their music.

All I know is that they've always been incredibly consistent. If I had to name a band that embodies metalcore, Currents would definitely be one of them, because they've got it all: phenomenal lead riffs, pure aggression, and a fantastic vocalist who can deliver some of the most gruesome screams while still having one of the most recognisable voices in the genre.
And probably my favourite thing about them? Their breakdown callouts. They're always amazing and never fail to hype me up.

They released the best EP of 2025 "All That Follows", with every single song slapping you right in the face (in a good way). If you haven't heard it yet, do yourself a favour and go listen to it now (but feel free to leave a like on this reel first).

Although they have some seriously high-energy songs, they're also capable of creating beautiful, introspective tracks, and "Remember Me" is a perfect example and it's funny when you realize that this song was created during a Twitch stream during the pandemic 😅

It might not be one of their most aggressive songs, but it does have some of the most memorable lyrics they've written.

I also think that we'll have new music from them by the end of the year, so stay tuned for that

🔥Total privilege catching @currents at Louder Than Life.

A Progressive Metalcore band with strong Djent influences that's blowing up insanely fast. They sound massive, seriously technical, and they're an absolute powerhouse live.

They're one of the bands leading the new wave of Metal.

👉 Go straight to Spotify and check them out if you haven't yet. 🤘

3/4 done with the year and I have to say, 2026 has been incredible. Life this year has gone from Court side at the Celtics to stage side with some incredible humans I can now call, friends. Cheers to chances 🍻 and cheers to all the people I’ve crossed paths with this year and have shared a conversation and laugh with. Let’s close out the year strong.
