What if you could remember every moment of your life?

That's the core concept behind my newest short film, Blank Slate, which has recently started its festival run.

Blank Slate is a psychological drama that follows Amber, a woman claiming to remember every moment of her life. After years of keeping her abilities private, a local news station discovers her and requests an interview for a segment. The film takes place over the course of the taping.

Film is an extremely collaborative medium and I'm endlessly grateful to the cast and crew whose talents made this project possible. A special thank you to @bethanyannelind for bringing Amber to life with such honesty and vulnerability, this film would not have worked without you.

Our festival run has been off to a great start - Blank Slate premiere up at the fabulous @chainfilmfest and received the Filmmaker Favorite Award. We've been accepted into the @catalinafilm and @sjisff, both Oscar qualifying festivals. and had an incredible time at @athensfilmfest last weekend.

Thank you to everyone who's supported my filmmaking over the years. I’m incredibly lucky to be apart of such an amazing community here in ATL 🎬

Behind-the-scenes photo I grabbed on the first day of shooting "Intravenus" at the Little 5 Community Center in March 2025. These were all iPhone shots as I was otherwise filming and preparing to film, my head wasn't in a still photo-taking space, I was just trying to get some documentation of the shoot. This one, however, Brice was rehearsing a big monologue, I took a medium-long shot that showed the full room and everyone in the background, then when I was was working on it in Photoshop I realized there was possibly a close-up here if I cropped it-- I was thinking of the rough low-grade aesthetic of the Tokyo Grand Guignol (the 1980s theater troupe, not the 2015 film) in photos Aaron has collected in sub-culture art magazines from Japan. Thought it came out really well.

A still photo taken on the first day of shooting "Intravenus" last year. I took its puny iPhone ass and imported it to Photoshop where I cropped it way down and worked on it, coming up with this, which I really like. Let's see if this resolution will post. Instagram is displeased with me today and keeps saying, "Your photo is too large!" when there shouldn't be a problem.
P.S. As with everything on Instagram, you can't tell how nice this looks large, all the pretty grain. Really lovely.

July Recap- Pretty decent month, got to watch my four legged nieces and nephews while my brother @cloud_mamba moved(thanks again for letting us watch them, it was such a fun time), got to watch the new spider-man movie early, and like any great person in their 20s before me I had an existential crisis, but we back and we up. Also as per usual I hit some more PRs in the gym
