Moc 9: Cerberus 🐾🏛️

My first customs were all about creating minifigures based on different deities from different mythologies. When I made Hades, I realized that if I wanted him to resemble how he’s portrayed in the myths, I needed to give him some recognizable symbols. So I gave him a bident and the Helm of Invisibility, but something was still missing—something that would instantly identify him.

And what better symbol for the Lord of the Underworld than his three-headed guard dog: Cerberus?

At the time, the closest thing LEGO had was the original Fluffy figure from set 4709, released in 2001. I only managed to get the body, but not the heads. Coincidentally, that same year LEGO released set 76387-1, so all I needed to do was get three of the dog heads and then build a completely different body—one that looked bigger, more intimidating, and, of course, more mythologically accurate.

It’s taller than the official version, has a serpent tail inspired by the Greek myths, and purple chains to represent his role as Hades’ guardian dog.

Lego Pirates of the Caribbean Collection

Maybe I don’t have all the Pirates of the Caribbean sets, but I have to say that this is definitely the most eye-catching line in my collection. The size of the ships and their unique designs, not to mention the exclusive minifigures that come with them, make this collection truly incredible.

I remember starting my collection with these sets when the movies were at their peak, and I have to say that the reinterpretation of maritime myths for the big screen makes Pirates of the Caribbean one of the greatest works of the seventh art. (Although I have to admit, I’m not really a fan of the fifth movie either 😂.)

Even today, these sets still manage to stay afloat, and I’m eagerly hoping that next year we finally get the Flying Dutchman set. 🥹

Ninjago 15TH anniversary BAM!

- I know I got these figures a little later than most, but I’m genuinely obsessed with them! Nya is obviously the star of the show, but who’s your favorite?

(Also thank you to @brickspector for picking these up for me!)
