A special afternoon courtesy of the @irishcentersf at 45th & Wawona

The city actually had two legitimate rain fronts today -- and the Saturday session saved a room full of #outersunset friends from the elements

All of the musicians brought amazing music

Special shout-out to Brian Conway & Cate Sandstrom -- the two led the session, as they generously lent their time all the way from White Plains, NY

Yikes! Bit shocked I am actually doing this 😬 Here’s a piece I penned 25 years ago. (Title: Achilles’ Heel) I actually wrote a whole book’s worth of poetry at that time, then never again. Weird! 🧐 Anyway, figured it was finally time to share it w/the world 😂 Wanted y’all to know I’ve always had a similar perspective of the world. My “Voicemails for God” project is not some new thing w/me. Nothing has changed. Nothing happened. I just can’t stay silent anymore.

Only the second time I’ve ever put myself out there singing. 😬😬😬 Be gentle 😂 The other time? That also happened 25 years ago… at the Henry Miller Library w/my friends Nico, Rushad, Robin & Jacob ❤️ Hard to believe it’s been that long 😳

Linger family of “eatuaries” in Denver knows how to convert rare buildings into popping venues.

A former brothel is now Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox, with cheeky/flirty menu items and a fly concert stage (pics 1-6).

One-time mortuary is now Linger, featuring clever and trendy international fare—rabbit arancini! Fried chicken bao!—in a sleek setting (7-10).

Thanks for recs @reynaldo___gonzales.

Dinner was delicious, beef wellington and lamb bolognese. Not picture asparagus with a bacon vinaigrette and hummus, pimento cheese, smoked trout dip, crackers and vegetable crudité 🤤
