Million Goods opens its second retail space, a two-story flagship where you can shop, listen to great music, and even enjoy a glass of wine. Located in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, the new destination will welcome guests with brands such as @amomento.co, @bernerkuhl, @etudesstudio, @mhlbymargarethowell, @ranra_studio, and more. You'll also find a listening room with audio by Bridge Street Sound and a bar stocked with natural wine options sourced from producers throughout Europe. Founder Drew Kaufmann on the concept: “Million Goods is designed for people to slow down and spend time. Whether someone comes in looking for a specific pair of trousers or simply walks in off the street, we want them to feel comfortable having a glass of wine or a cup of tea, reading a book in the backyard or wandering upstairs to discover something new. It is a place of ultimate leisure.” Million Goods is now open at 201 DeKalb Avenue in Brooklyn, NY. Photos: Million Goods

PARTY AS PRACTICE: This Party Was Powered By The Sun And Good Vibrations 🔊🌞🔊 Thank you for joining us on July 25th for the Institute for Public Architecture’s 13th Annual Fête: Friends Party! Bridge Street Sound returned with an incredible DJ line-up including Bereket, Sevyn, Donis, and Juju. With a sound system that can shake an island, they set the mood and got us dancing! Designed by stock-a-studio, the DJ booth and lighting rig displayed a solar-powered array of lights that turned the alleyway between Building 9 and 10 in Nolan Park into a glowing outdoor dance floor. Backdropped by the abandoned Building 12 of the northeastern part of Governors Island, stock-a-studio's party infrastructure demonstrates the power of lightweight disassemblable architecture. As the sun set, a cinematic program presented by the Film-Makers Cooperative bloomed across a series of projection screens in the park. Curated by Zacarias Gonzalez, the series of short-films focused on themes of ecological co-existence: living so that other lives thrive alongside our own, a civic practice as much as a natural one. 📸 Beautiful photos of the night's energy captured by @guarionex_jr 📣A giant thank you to our Friends and Sponsors📣 Residency Sponsor: Warburg Pincus Party Infrastructure Sponsors: MIT DISASSEMBLIES Research and Design Lab Yale School of Architecture House of Jax Classic Harbor Line Friends Party Benefit Committee: Quilian Riano Peterson Rich Office PAZ Events Sagi Golan Janet Liff Tracey Hummer Curry Hackett Roz Palmer Arthur Platt *** SOUND SYSTEM AND DJ LINE UP Bridge Street Sound @bridgestreetsound Featuring: @baku__254 @indigosevyn @donis.bk @wepa_fc ARCHIVAL FILM PROGRAM The Film-Makers’ Cooperative @filmcoop Curated by Zacarías González @zacariasggonzalez DJ BOOTH AND SOLAR LIGHTING RIG DESIGN Xavi Aguirre, MIT Disassemblies Research and Design Lab @stock_a_studio Team: Rizek Bahbah CREATIVE DIRECTION Deborah Garcia @theblankwall MOBILE PIZZA OVEN Pizzeria Fantastica @pizzeriafantastica DRINKS @yolamezcal @pablosmate @sixcoasts Many thanks to the @governorsisland team!
