Over three months, Bridging Miracles, UMOK, and Three Square worked together to get more food into Southern Nevada families' hands.

The result? 30,992 pounds of food safely distributed across 1,428 service encounters!

We see 75 to 100 people every week, & this week we showed up with a promise kept. Thanks to your donations, every single person we saw walked away with seven electrolyte packets, one for each day, & the knowledge of exactly how to use them. & because of that same generosity, we already have enough to cover this Sunday too.

Dozens of the people we serve are managing life outside in extreme heat. Heat illness & dehydration don’t wait for donations to catch up. Every packet we hand out is a small shield against an ER visit, a seizure, a crisis that never should have happened.

Here’s what makes this work real to us. One of our volunteers @roku_and_ashley followed up with an unhoused community friend on a weekday, outside of Sidewalk Sundays, to check in. When she handed them water, they reached for their electrolyte packet without being asked. They remembered. They used it. That’s not just a supply we handed out; that’s a habit we built together, one that keeps someone safer for longer.

This is what your donations do. Not just a bag of supplies, but recovery, prevention, & trust built one Sunday at a time.

Community care is more than street medicine; it’s connection. It’s being next to someone on the concrete, checking their vitals, & holding space for whatever they’re carrying that day. Let's also take a moment & give a huge congratulations to Amy for being sober!

We see the struggle out here. Addiction doesn’t discriminate, & getting sober isn’t a single decision; it’s a daily fight that a lot of people are making without a safe place to land. We meet people exactly where they are, because that’s what harm reduction means, & because judgment never got anyone closer to healing. So…let's talk about it openly.

What we can promise is this: the love doesn’t change. Not based on what someone’s struggling with, not based on how many times they’ve tried before, not based on anything at all. Out here on the sidewalk, everyone gets the same care & the same respect.

Grateful for every volunteer, every donor, & every neighbor who trusted us today. We’ll be back next Sunday, same place, same love. Thank you to @givingbacklv for the amazing care packs & @shine_a_lightlv for all the Narcan, fentanyl, & xylazine testing strips @bridgingmiracles for donating so many amazing bagels!!!
