One of the coolest parts of this job is realizing that it is so much more than “just tattoos” and I don’t ever want my clients to forget that or how special each client is to me🥹

I originally met these two because I tattooed her name on him while they were engaged, and somehow that tattoo appointment eventually turned into an invitation to watch them say “I do.” 🤍

They had the coolest guest book literally a piano everyone could sign.. so of course I wrote, “To forever love that lasts longer than tattoos even” (verbiage may sound off hehe I was nervous to write on such a beautiful piano)

There are so many people who come in and out of my tattoo chair, and every single one becomes part of my story in their own little way. Being trusted with something so permanent is already special, but getting to witness pieces of their lives beyond the studio makes this job even sweeter

Such a beautiful wedding and such a special reminder of why I love what I do. Thank you again to the Labelle’s for including me on your special day 🤍

Have you ever noticed the music theme here at Billboard Doxies? 🎶💗

It all started with one very special dachshund, our now retired girl, Dolly. Dolly was lovingly named after Dolly Parton and her song Backwoods Barbie. My love for music is what inspired our theme behind Billboard Doxies, and naturally, Dolly was the first woman that came to mind. Since then we have named each one of our dogs after an artist and one of their songs.

Music has always been a HUGE part of my life. My sister @brieannajames is a singer/songwriter, and Dolly Parton has always been someone we both looked up to. Of course, there was her incredible talent and the music we all know and love, but what has always stood out to me even more was her heart.

For someone who achieved so much in her lifetime, Dolly never seemed to forget where she came from. She gave back in ways that truly changed people’s lives. Even my own daughters received books through Dolly’s Imagination Library when they were little. Every month, a new book would show up, completely free, simply because Dolly believed children deserved the opportunity to read and dream. 📚🦋

That says so much about the kind of woman she was. She was such an inspiration and an amazing role model for young girls. Dolly will be missed, but her legacy will always live on. 💗🦋🎶
