🌟 Behind the scenes with our 2027 Miss Wagga Wagga Quest Entrants!🌟

Last night, three of our incredible Entrants, Brielle, Kayla, and Samantha, took a major step in their personal and professional development by diving into the world of media training! 🎤📺

Hosted at the TripleA FM studios, the session was led by the fantastic Alan Lean, alongside special guest and 7News Journalist, Steph Muir!

Our Entrants were treated to expert tips and tricks on how to ace interviews for both radio and television. They then put their new skills straight to the test, stepping up to the microphone and the camera for some fast-paced mock interviews!

A massive thank you to Alan and Steph for sharing your invaluable industry knowledge, and to TripleA FM for hosting us. We are so proud of how confidently Brielle, Kayla, and Samantha embraced the challenge and look forward to offering the same opportunity for Alexis when she returns 💕

Yesterday morning we were invited to the Wagga Wagga Veteran & Vintage Motor Club’s Rally. Among the gorgeous cars is a community of fun and heartwarming drivers who made all of us feel completely welcome.

Unfortunately, Alexis couldn’t join us today due to personal reasons, but with an impromptu invitation to introduce ourselves to everyone, I think we all crushed it. It was nervewracking but President, Charles Oliver, and the rest of the WWVVMC made it easy!

We are so grateful for their support, and we wanted to give a special shoutout to Ross from the Lithgow District Car Club who gave us a very generous donation. Thanks Ross!

Despite the chilly day the sun shone brightly on everyone’s vintage cars and it was lovely to see, and hear them all on their way.

A fantastic rally to everyone involved. Thanks for inviting us.

✨💜 Meet the Entrant 💜✨

G’day, my name is Brielle Ayres, and I am so excited to be an entrant in the 2027 Miss Wagga Wagga Quest!

I am originally from a small rural town in the Northern Rivers just below the Queensland border. I moved to Wagga a few years ago to study Equine Science & Business at Charles Sturt University so I could chase my dreams of building a career in the equine and thoroughbred racing industry.

Since moving here, I have had so many amazing opportunities and experiences and Wagga has truly become a second home.

Community has always been something incredibly important to me. When I’m not busy working or studying, I love getting involved in local events, agricultural shows, competitions, and spending time around the people who work hard to make country communities so special.

I am also completing my Cert IV in Horse Racing with hopes of one day becoming a horse trainer myself. Horses and agriculture have shaped so much of who I am today, and I feel incredibly lucky to be building my future in an industry I’m so passionate about right here in Wagga. 🐴

Outside of that, I enjoy a wide range of unique hobbies including archery, ranch bronc riding, knife throwing, photography, art, reading, music, and of course spending time around horses.

This past year has brought some personal health challenges, which have reminded me just how important community, kindness, and perseverance are. No matter what life throws at you, there is always strength to be found in the people around you and in continuing to chase your goals. 🌟

I joined the Quest to step outside my comfort zone, build new friendships, support local organisations, and give back to a community that has welcomed me so warmly. I cannot wait to see where this journey leads and to meet all of the amazing people involved along the way.

I would also like to say a huge thank you to Riverina Personalised Plan Managers for sponsoring my journey with the Quest and for “walking the journey” alongside me throughout this experience. Their support, kindness, and community focused values mean so much to me, and I am incredibly grateful.
