Week 17 I SLC Headquarters Mission
The highlight of our week…seeing our family and watching our son marry Macy who we adore!!
Meeting Miller Jean in person!
Hugging all the grandchildren!
Meeting Aaron’s new family in person. How blessed David and I are for having the best in-laws for our kids!
Seeing so many dear friends! We adore each and everyone one of you. Wish I had pictures of all of you who came to give hugs and support our family!
We are so grateful for my mom! We couldn’t have pulled it off without her! Flowers, cake, decorations, set up, dinners, food prep, a bed to sleep in, the list does not end! Love you mom!!!
We are grateful for our kids, their spouses, my sister Stephanie and her girls, David’s siblings and spouses who traveled from afar to celebrate with us, and everyone else who came to help and everyone who stayed to help clean up! You are dear to my heart.
I am so grateful for David! He did so much to reduce the stress of preparing for a wedding from a distance! It was a wonderful day, thank you hun!
Many miracles happened along the way:
Our Visa paperwork finished being translated into Portuguese and sent into the Mozambique Consulate on Monday… Perfect timing! We were blessed to be able to attend Aaron & Macy’s wedding.
Peyton and Emily made arrangements to have Miller Jean’s baby blessing while we were in town.
All our children and spouses were in the temple. That was the sweetest blessing of all.
We made it across the border into Utah before midnight! Keeping the rules and still attended the reception in American Falls. Which was absolutely beautiful and fun!!
The Monday before we left for Idaho…David and I had a most powerful morning devotional. Pres. & Sister Rizley spoke about missing the moment and not feeling the spirit when so much is going on around you. We felt like they were talking right to us. So those few moments in the temple with all our children, their spouses, with our family, friends, new family, Aaron & Macy. As we sat together, I grabbed David’s hand and thought, Be still. Remember this moment.
Hugs the Jeppsons
