3,000 rounds and counting through the Brigade Makasi MK15! 🇨🇦🔥

Safe to say I’m pretty happy with this rifle overall. It’s been an absolute blast to shoot, and the more rounds I put through it, the more I appreciate it.

Definitely one of my favourite rifles on the Canadian market right now.

1,000 rounds. No cleaning. No lube. Still running like a dream. 👌

Put the Makasi MK15 through its paces, and so far, I’m seriously impressed. Had 3 light strikes today, possibly related to all the sand it’s been eating over the past few weeks. Other than that, this rifle has been a blast to shoot and has proven itself to be a great option so far.

We also put the Parish Optics thermal through its paces. 🔥

First, the footage doesn’t do this thing justice. The image is noticeably crisper in real life. It’s a 256-resolution unit with AI image enhancement that, to my eye, makes it look closer to 384 resolution.

We put 400 rounds through the rifle, tossed it in the truck bed, and did plenty of running around. The thermal is still holding zero, which genuinely surprised me. The laser rangefinder delivered accurate readings, and there are so many features to play around with that I’m still exploring what this thing can do.

So far, I like what I see. More testing to come.

RANGE DAY 02 | MAKASI MK15

I’m getting more comfortable behind the rifle, finding my rhythm, and it’s starting to show on target. 🎯

The more time I spend with this one, the more I like it. Still early days, but I’ve got a good feeling about where this is going.

For this video, I’m running Level IV plates and level III side armor from @aratechresearch in my plate carrier. Proud to support Canadian manufacturing, especially when it comes to NIJ-certified armor. 🛡️

We’re just getting started. 🇨🇦
