✨ SISTERHOOD 10 ✨ Honored to present Sisterhood 10 at the collective exhibition hosted by the Colombian Consulate in Miami. This piece is part of my ongoing series, Sisterhood, a body of work that celebrates the transformative power of female friendship, solidarity, and mutual support. Through this series, I explore how women uplift one another through life’s challenges, from adolescence to adulthood, and how these bonds help us grow, heal, and thrive. Sisterhood 10 * is inspired by the remarkable story of two Syrian swimmer sisters who saved 18 refugees by pulling their sinking boat to safety across the Mediterranean Sea. It portrays the moment they finally reached shore, exhausted but relieved after saving so many lives. The embroidered crosses surrounding the figures symbolize the sacred nature of sisterhood: the invisible bonds of care, courage, love, and sacrifice that connect women across cultures and borders. A tribute to the strength we find in one another. ❤️ “I deeply believe that sisterhood is one of the most powerful forces in the world, capable of transforming fear into courage, and survival into hope.” ✨ thank you @brightfoundation_ and @nubiaabaji to be part of this exhibition!

Coral Gables ¡Bienvenida a Miami, cónsul! 🇨🇴✨
