When Bri first said to me, “Bro, we HAVE to get scuba certified while in Thailand,” I only said yes because I usually have the mentality of, why not, I’ll try everything once.

I didn’t think I’d be into it. But I was WRONGG.

We liked it so much that after getting my Open Water certification, we immediately signed up for our Advanced as well.

And we saw some INSANE things down there. Stingrays, a school of barracuda, a gigantic jellyfish, a family of clownfish living in a sea anemone. A shipwreck??!!!

It’s incredibly quiet except for the rhythm of breathing through your regulator and the sound of bubbles passing your ears. Everything slows down and you feel the water moving around you.

Koh Tao is also one of the cheapest places in the world to get scuba certified, so I’m really glad I said, “Screw it. Yeah bro, we should.”

Now my hobbies can take me +14,000 ft (skydiving) and, so far, -100 ft (scuba diving).

There’s something amazing about exploring the earth from completely different perspectives. And I feel blessed to experience all of this while I’m young, wild, & able.

We spent MDW the right way at Outer Beach trying food from Nauset Farms!! Everything was so good, especially the wraps + broccoli salad. Stay till the end for a surprise visitor 🦀🐚 🐟
