Did you know that the Phoenix Tap Fest began in 2013? Originally called “Just West of Broadway” and incorporated not only tap dancing but all aspects of the performing arts. Over the years, we have offered over 1,000 classes and had around 40-45 faculty members come through! A huge thank you to everyone who has been a part of our events over the years! 2027 schedule and announcements on their way!! Stay tuned!! #phoenixtapfest #tapdance #justwestofbroadway #tapfestival

Maud’s Musings: Community > Competition

Huge thank you to @brilbarrett for having me as part of the faculty for the @maddrhythms 25th Anniversary Tap Summit. It was an honor to celebrate such an incredible milestone surrounded by artists who continue to pour into this culture and keep tap moving forward.

Community will always be greater than competition. 🫶🏾
