Cracklin’ Carbon… a beautifully satisfying sound solidifying that there are millions of tiny carbon condominiums fracturing under pressure in my hand. Once in the soil, the carbon pores will provide homes for microbial families and communities - ultimately recreating the entire soil ecosystem. #biochar #soilhealth #regenerativefarming #floridafarm #floridaag

Florida peeps generate millions of tons of woody biomass every year!!!! This is no one’s fault. It’s been a process that has been analyzed as a liability, rather than an asset, for generations. What if we stopped treating biomass like waste, and started treating it like a resource? 🪵 ➜ Biochar

The rural way of life that makes this state so special. 🌾🦅🐢 Once these farms, wetlands, and open spaces are paved over, they are gone forever. Please stand with our farmers, ranchers, wildlife lovers, and local communities to protect rural Florida and stop reckless overdevelopment in Hillsborough County. Our voices matter. Our future matters. 📞 Call Governor Ron DeSantis: (850) 717-9337 📧 Email: GovernorRon.DeSantis@eog.myflorida.com Tell him to VETO Florida HB 4061 and help preserve Florida’s farmland, wildlife, and rural communities for future generations. #ProtectHillsboroughCounty #SaveFloridaFarms #PreserveRuralFlorida #StopOverdevelopment #saveourwildlife

Is Florida’s loss of water to development and mismanaged flow leading to worse droughts and fires? The evidence and increased occurrence of drought and fire conditions say yes. And it’s clear that Florida can’t handle more reckless development, AI Data Centers, or lack of initiative to restore the water flow and River of Grass. #florida #wildfire #everglades #conservation

Every time we choose to buy food imported from China or other countries, we miss an opportunity to support the hardworking farmers right here in Florida. Our local farmers provide fresh fruits, vegetables, beef, seafood, and countless other products that feed our families and strengthen our communities. But every year, more farmland is being sold and paved over for housing developments and commercial projects. If we want to preserve Florida’s beautiful rural landscapes, protect our food supply, and keep family farms in business, we need to make a conscious effort to buy local whenever possible. 🥬 Support Florida-grown produce 🐄 Buy from local ranchers and farmers markets 🌾 Help preserve agricultural land 🏡 Protect our state from overdevelopment 💚 Keep Florida farmers thriving for generations to come When you buy local, you’re not just purchasing food—you’re investing in the future of Florida. #supportfloridafarmers #protectfarmland #buylocalflorida #keepfloridagrowing #saveourfarms

Biochar is a part of the solution, but not a solution in itself for regenerative agriculture. Like a dry sponge, it’ll adsorb anything in the soil if it’s not inoculated (if you’re looking to remediate a contaminated site , let’s talk) . Inoculation is easy, and it’s cost effective, and we are privileged to work with a select few in Florida making the solution! We appreciate the comments and questions and looking forward to growing w yall 🌱🙏🏻🪱🌱🪵🔥🌎 #biochar #soilhealth #regenerativefarming #floridafarm #floridaag
