POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

At the start of June, I told @aeriqah and @mariancarmelmusic I didn't think this month was gonna be very festive for me coz I was feeling kinda jaded and down... They told me to chill coz it was June 2nd and they were right LOL what a freaking whirlwind of a month 💥💥💥

Many things have already been said by many wise people but to add some of my thoughts:

1. community is everything
2. but community is nothing without compassion, respect, and taking accountability
3. pride is a celebration AND a protest
4. i love you

Happy pride month :-) 💖

happy pride mga bading!!! 🌈💕

this pride month was making new friends at sapphic game night, seeing real stories and a theatre full of people singing a song i co-wrote, dancing in the club until they turned on the homophobic lights, and my gymbro arc so i can beat all of yall at the next lesbian arm wrestling :D

wherever this finds you, i hope you know you are loved as you are 💖

Rene moves between building rooms for queer joy and stepping on stage to be emotionally honest. Both are about connection, just held in different ways.

Their parties create space to escape, celebrate, and exist together. Their music is where vulnerability becomes a shared language, letting people find themselves in what’s being sung.

Visibility, to Rene, is not just presence but care. Showing up for one another, listening when minority artists speak, and existing openly are all part of sustaining a scene that feels safe and real.

We’re grateful to be in conversation with artists like Rene, who help shape the rooms and the culture around them. 💜😭

If you’re an artist looking for more gigs and the right spaces to grow in, our DMs are open.
