THE 2026 SIDELINE SPORTS SOFTBALL SUPREME TEAM 🥎🏆

From State Championship game runs and record-breaking seasons to dominant performances in the circle and players building the foundation of young programs, the 2026 Sideline Sports Softball Supreme Team is absolutely loaded.

We begin with our postseason superlatives:

👑 SUPREME TEAM MVP — Callista Berrett, Iowa Park
Berrett went 32-4 in the circle while leading the Lady Hawks all the way to the UIL State Championship game. She was just as dangerous at the plate, hitting .442 during a season that proved she could impact the game in every possible way.

🔥 PITCHER OF THE YEAR — Jaylen Kaps, West Plains
Kaps recorded 318 strikeouts with a 2.25 ERA, leading the Lady Wolves to a 27-13 record and the Regional Finals. She also surpassed 1,000 career strikeouts, putting the finishing touches on one of the most decorated careers we have ever seen in the Texas Panhandle.

💣 OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR — Lainey Gibson, Lubbock-Cooper
Gibson put together an absolutely absurd season, hitting .626 with 61 hits, 17 home runs and 62 RBI. Her batting average, home runs and RBI totals all established new Lubbock-Cooper school records.

🧤 DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR — Hagen Walker, Liberty
Walker anchored the Lady Patriots with a .951 fielding percentage while also hitting .681 with 21 doubles, 13 home runs and 59 RBI. The future Lady Raider chose to plant her flag at Liberty and help Coach Limmer build the foundation of the program.

⭐️ NEWCOMER OF THE YEAR — Brinlee Baker, Amarillo High
As a freshman, Baker took command of center field while hitting .417 with 4 home runs and 37 RBI. After watching her perform during the playoffs, it was clear Amarillo High has something special for years to come.

Congratulations to every athlete selected to the 2026 Sideline Sports Softball Supreme Team! 🥎🔥🏆

Reflecting back on the Lords faithfulness, and grateful is an understatement of what the He has given me these past 13 years!! He has intentionally placed everyone on this path, there for a reason!!! God, your fingerprints are everywhere!!

“I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.” -Psalm‬ ‭16‬:‭8‬ ‭
