Hi everyone, I’d love to reintroduce myself. My name is Katie, owner and founder of The Glam House!🩷

I started The Glam House in 2020 with nothing but a dream. In 2021, I opened my first brick-and-mortar location, and to say I had a lot to learn would be an understatement. That season challenged me in the best ways and taught me lessons that shaped both me and my business.

My career truly began to take off during that time, but being so young, I made the decision to step back, close my storefront in 2024, and move to Nashville. That leap of faith changed everything. My career blossomed in ways I had always dreamed of. I had the opportunity to travel across the country and around the world, providing makeup for weddings. From destination weddings overseas to NFL weddings, to incredible women who trusted me enough to fly me out, every experience has been such an honor.

In 2025, I moved back home to Louisiana. Since then, The Glam House has grown and flourished more than ever. While I still travel, I now get to be closer to my family and have started a family of my own, which has been the greatest blessing.

Today, The Glam House is made up of 10 incredibly talented women specializing in hair, makeup, and spray tans for your most important moments, especially your wedding day. In 2025 alone, we had the honor of servicing over 300 weddings, and I cannot wait to see what 2026 has in store.

This journey hasn’t always been easy, but through rediscovering myself, giving myself grace, and choosing to never give up, I have been able to keep going. I am beyond grateful for every single person who has supported me and trusted me along the way!

I also want to take a moment to highlight someone incredibly special, @sierracastelinhmua. In 2023, she came to me wanting to pursue makeup, and I told her if she could master hair too, she would always have a place here.
Together, we truly are a dream team, creating some of the most beautiful work I have ever been a part of.
