This Easter just feels so different. I’ve seen others say the same and I believe it’s because God is truly stirring something in the hearts of His people. He has something special in store for those who trust, love, and follow Him.

There’s no greater love than this.. that Jesus gave His life for sins He didn’t commit for me. For you. Little ole me... He saw me worth dying for. I can’t help but praise Him.

My pastor (Zedric Clayton) preached from Luke 24:1-6 today. The message was “Its Not Over”.
“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; He has risen!” And whew! What a word. That reminder hit different. Those 7 days... oh what can happen in 7 days. We often focus on the three but that Holy Week... it was filled with pain, betrayal, agony, surrender, and ultimately victory.

What He went through is unimaginable but I’m grateful.. Grateful for the cross. Grateful for the resurrection. Grateful for the hope that lives because He lives.
HE HAS RISEN. HE’S ALIVE! Amen!

• I’ll hit my full 2024 recap soon, but I’m still in holiday/Christmas feels + mode and really reflecting on these last 2 months seriously being THE BEST time of the year for me 🥹🎄♥️ … it has been full of family, friends, laughs, singing, reunions, celebration, relaxation, rest and fullness of JOY! I wanted all of this on purpose + created these moments on purpose mixed with moments designed by God Himself ✨

It is literally only my 3rd day out here, so tlk to me nice lmaoo. This birthday has been one to remember and one to cherish 🥹 I’ve felt loved on many other birthdays, but this one hit so different. THANK YOU ALL for every call, message, video, txt, like, comment, gift, etc. 🫶🏽

I’m so thankful to serve + be loved by a God that is so kind to me and has allowed me to see this many years of life. A life that I really could not make up if I tried at that lol. To have created so many memories, had so many adventures + seen the world, and just walk in what He has for me has been an eye-opening experience and lets me know to just keep having faith and trust Him. I know He is not done with me yet and there is MORE 🤍

I’m so thankful to my parents + family that have celebrated me, loved me, lifted me up, prayed for me, imparted words of wisdom + cheered me on ♥️ I am incredibly blessed to have friends that are seriously more like my family and love me, support me, hold me accountable, celebrate me, have been my shoulders to cry on, give me amazing advice, allow me the pleasure to love on them and most importantly, give me some of the biggest laughs 💕

Last, but certainly not least, I have the most INCREDIBLE partner that has made this birthday feel like a dream come true 🥹🥰 DJ is an answered prayer and proves that to me daily. He was so intentional with the planning, itinerary 😭🥹, gifts, execution and really just making sure I had everything I asked for. It meant so much that he made sure I got my facial at the spa I love, but also took me to soak in my Mountain View’s and just have a moment with God to inhale that beauty and feel at peace for this new year of life 🫶🏽

I’m so excited to walk into this new year of life and see what chapters will unfold for me and of course keep sharing all of it whether it be yapping abt it or photos lmao — I love you ALL 🥂💓

• November is here and WOW 🥹 …. It’s a good wow though bc life + God has genuinely been so kind to me in this season. I know I deserve this too bc well, it IS my bday month #1114 🥳

This has been a heavy season of remembrance, celebration, reminiscing + strong sisterhood. Let’s start with me attending what is technically my 10 yr graduation reunion at my cute little Montessori school, Counterpane. There were so many of the best memories to comb through. So many ppl to hug. 🤍 what made me happiest was also sharing the day with old classmates, but also my boyfriend 🥹 I told him he just had to experience seeing this for himself. This part of my life brought me my best friend of almost 25 yrs, Kristen or as I love to call her Chuchie and we got to have the cutest little sleepover to celebrate our years of seeing each other through ups + downs, the things we’ve forgotten, the things we remember + more 🫶🏽 Thank you for always staying down with me in this jiggy jungle called life 💜 I’m sure thankful to my sweet Counterpane for my education, but a little more for my BFF.

Seeing as though I graduated in 2013, that was also my freshman year of college which brought me my best friend of 10 yrs, my Bri Bri. I just thank God for how intentional + strategic He is. Who knew that a decision such as college would grant me an experience of friendship such as Bri and I have. I’m very thankful for my girl and I’m so prayerful that God will continue to see us through all the seasons of life 😭🤍 to go back to Memphis and celebrate HoCo was indescribable, but just reliving that day/moment with my Bri was more than I could ever ask for. I’m sure thankful to my sweet UofM for my education, but a little more for my BFF.

Lastly, Nov. 4th was my sweet ladybugs heavenly birthday 🐞🥹🥳 — going back to Counterpane also gave the gift of looking through one of the yearbooks to get this photo we took at a Grandparents Day. I sure do miss that lady and wish she could see me now ♥️

2022 was my year to reclaim me, heal me, love me, love others and just DO + LIVE 🤍 2023 is my redemption story year and I intend to keep living + doing. I said at the beginning of 2022, I would live, serve + love the way my Auntie Stacey did and I plan to carry that out as much as I can. 2022 served me the highest of highs and the lowest of lows, I dnt intend 2023 to be much diff bc that’s life, I just plan to graciously move through every moment of life with God + those who love + support me 🥹🫶🏽

I’m claiming 2023 to be a year of:
✨ new, steady + intentional love
✨ more adventure + travel
✨ growing in my professional life
✨ more self care
✨ loving on my family + friends
✨ learning better how to not be overly passive + forgiving and have the hard convos
✨ continued therapy to love on me MORE, honor my boundaries + do/discover the things Nia loves + WANTS to do! A year of trying new things if you will 🤭
