✦ Name: Brisa Del Real
✦ Year: Freshman
✦ Major: Recreational Therapy; Minor: Psychology + Pre-Occupational Therapy
✦ Hometown: Lafayette, IN
✦ Favorite song right now: Sun is Shining by Bob Marley & The Wailers
✦ A quote you live by: “try to appreciate how temporary everything is”
✦ Why GPhiO?
I chose GPhiO because they were able to provide a kind and welcoming environment on campus as soon as I met them; finding a group that resonated with my goals and morals was a must for me. The friendships that I’ve made through GPhiO so far has helped me feel more comfortable and confident as a first-year student. Forming friendships with people that share similar cultural backgrounds was also extremely important to me because I craved that sense of belonging on campus and GPhiO was able to provide that for me in addition to sisterhood, support, and personal growth.
