💭 WHAT IS THIS POST FOR?
This post aims to let you know who I am, what I’m about and what to expect from my page to show you what you will gain from connecting with me!

💼 WHAT DO YOU DO?

A PRESENTER:
• who’s voice has been heard across the nation on the BBC during my apprenticeship via on-air features and interviews, and debuted on student radio at The BRIT School… 🎙️

A DECORATED RADIO PRODUCER:
• who’s journey also started in student radio at @thebritschool, moved to a BBC apprenticeship and has now gone onto work with Radio 2, 1Xtra, BBC Radio London and more… 📻

and more importantly…..
• A LOVER OF MUSIC OF ALL KINDS, AND A TRUE CHAMPION OF THE ARTISTS BEHIND IT! ❤️❤️❤️

All of this wouldn’t be possible without my deep, mad, uncontrollable love for music. Ever since I was a kid, music has touched me in a way that I couldn’t never fully articulate into words - and now I want to build a community of like-minded lovers of the art! 🤞🏽

So, swipe through to either get to know me for the first time, or get to know me even more!

📧 LET’S CONNECT!
I want to connect with as many people as possible, and expand my opportunities within the field of radio presenting, concert hosting, artist and fan interviewing and music curation!

So don’t be shy to drop me a DM or an email - even just to chat, I love a good voice note 😁

SPECIAL THANKS!:
Massive shout out to everybody involved who has given me the platform to grow and support to go forwards, including Kerrie Cosh for giving me to opportunity to host and select tracks for “Codz Stamp of Approval” which aired on her BBC Introducing show, and the biggest love to the whole BBC Intro team for taking me to Reading & Leeds - everybody I worked with throughout my apprenticeship gave me the biggest support to flourish and develop my talents, and I could never forget that!

And the BIGGEST love to @thebritschool - the most important place in the world!

If you make music, you definitely need to submit your music to BBC Introducing, which is made up of the most passionate, dedicated music loving professionals that support grassroots music to its core ❤️

9 lessons I’ve learnt from the famous faces I’ve interviewed ‼️

If you want to learn more about the art of interviewing then you’ve reached the right spot 😁

Swipe for what they taught me… ->

Over the past few years, I’ve spent time interviewing a range of different rappers, singers, presenters, comedians, fashion designers…you name it. From rising alt-R&B/pop hybrid Natanya for BBC Radio, or The Masked Singer’s Mo Gilligan for my own podcast on The BRIT School’s student radio station.

In this post, I showcase my interviewee portfolio and give a little word about how they happened, and what I learnt from them. So lock in for the ride as I document my ever-growing development as a presenter!

If you are new here, my name is Codz - a presenter, radio producer and curator who has worked at the BBC, is an alumni of The BRIT School and is an all-round music addict. Any questions drop them in the comments and I get back to you!

Here are some tiny snippets from a short film made in February 2025 directed by @emdreel . ’Just Dance’, an interview with the future of dance🕺🩰🔮Wouldn’t have been possible without @gigi_emmott @thebritschool @danceatbrit @britfmp 🫶🫶🫶

It’s so interesting looking back a year and a half later, and how much more I have learnt about the world, myself, everyone around me and dance. SOOOO much can happen in a year, and I love discovering more and more everyday about it all✨✨
