From adding texture and depth to the bed, to draping one over the sofa or taking it outside for those slower, autumnal afternoons, they’re the little details that make a house feel like home.

Taking a look at the creation of my new collection of blankets, made in collaboration with @britishblankets.

Four of my designs, drawn from meadows, coastlines and woodland, have been faithfully rewoven in Lancashire. Jacquard weaving lets each pattern sit in the yarn itself rather than on the surface, so every blanket is fully reversible, with a soft brushed finish and a contrasting blanket-stitch border, all in 80% recycled cotton.

Each of the four designs — Meadow Grass, Field’s Edge, Rockpool and Forest Floor — began as sketches from nature, developed into linocuts or wood engravings before being scaled up considerably from the originals, the carved line finding new life in woven form.

You can order one of these limited edition blankets (there are just 50 of each) at www.angielewin.co.uk

Autumn, but make it colourful 🍂🌈

A little collection of snaps from this time last year ❤️

Autumn is actually my favourite season. 🍂 I LOVE watching the leaves change colour, those crisp sunny days and crunchy walks through piles of orange leaves. And the colours! Give me all the pinks, greens, mustard, burnt orange and colourful flowers 🌸🍁

I’m definitely not ready for pumpkins just yet though — but looking back through these has got me very excited for all the colour and cosiness of my favourite season 🥰

That said… I’m not quite ready to say goodbye to summer just yet either, especially while I’m soaking up some Spanish sunshine ☀️😂

Are you an autumn lover too, or are you still hanging onto summer? ☀️🍂

I’m delighted to share news of my just-launched collaboration with @britishblankets

Four of my prints, drawn from meadows, coastlines and woodland, have been rewoven in Lancashire. Jacquard weaving sets each pattern into the yarn itself, so every blanket is fully reversible, finished with a brushed surface and a contrasting blanket-stitch border, in 80% recycled cotton.

‘Meadow Grass’, ‘Field’s Edge’, ‘Rockpool’ and ‘Forest Floor’ began as sketches from nature, developed into linocuts or wood engravings before being woven at a much larger scale, the carved line finding new life in woven form.

Only fifty blankets have been made in each colourway.
