Meet Britney To 🔗

Fun Fact: went to boarding school for 2 years before completing my undergrad in London, UK!

“the CORE is community, a home away from home, and where adult friendships over shared interests and hardwork are made. no one else gets it like these girls do - they make spending 3 hours at night after a long work day unskippable!!”

Always posting late but better late than never 🥹 Quite the vulnerable post bc this trip was my desperate reminder that it’s one thing to want to be seen, it’s another to want to accept love thereafter. All that comes to mind now is what a blessing it is to be surrounded by so many humans who inspire me to keep going :’) While dance has been an extra mental battle I was not prepared for when I started 3 years ago, I would’ve never imagined that meeting @ninali16 and @the.core.to would lead to such an indescribable community of people cheering you on to tell your truth—even if that’s you messily dancing with holes in your socks, full on ugly sobbing in a room full of strangers in Wales.

I cringe at the thought of being emotional in front of people but i’m such a sensitive being that this was surely inevitable lol. So thank you for being here and seeing me. Thank you @heel_it_up_ for organizing and curating such a safe space for so many. Thank you to all the teachers at this convention who breathed life back into dance for me and reminded me that it’s genuine somatic healing and not just a silly little hobby. I have the privilege of feeling safe enough to show up as I am and for that i’m eternally grateful <3

My heart is full after a weekend of dancing, tears, and being surrounded by friends and so many incredible women who share the same passion 🤍

I can’t believe @heel_it_up_ convention is already over. This weekend challenged me in every way and reminded me why I fell in love with dance in the first place. I learned so much, grew in ways I didn’t expect, and felt my passion for dance reignite. Thank you so much @ninali16 and my girls from @the.core.to for this wonderful experience 🔗

Over the weekend I took an Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) Course with Brit!

IASTM is a hands-on technique that uses specialized tools to detect and treat soft tissue restrictions, scar tissue, and fascial adhesions. By gently gliding these instruments over the skin, we can help improve mobility, reduce pain, and stimulate the body’s natural healing response.

In a chiropractic setting, IASTM pairs perfectly with adjustments—helping to restore proper movement not just in the joints, but in the surrounding muscles and connective tissue too.

Benefits of IASTM:
• Improves range of motion
• Breaks down scar tissue + adhesions
• Enhances circulation + healing
• Reduces muscle tension + pain
