Letā€™s Breakdown my @wagewar ā€˜Blindfoldā€™ concept design #wagewar #landfall #alternative #graphicdesign #graphicdesigner The concept was inspired by the song of the same name from their recently released EP ā€˜It Calls Me By Nameā€™ and their album ā€˜Landfallā€™ Both EP & Album are inspired by their home of Florida. So gators, swamps, marshes and hurricanes are very prevalent across the music and visual landscape of the releases. The central elements of the design are a hooded figure and a blindfolded woman in a swamp area, tying into the themes of both releases, as well as the lyric ā€œSomething binds you, a Demon or the Devineā€ Given the location and thematic elements of the EP to which the song was originally released with, adding Alligators into the composition was a no brainer, and helped to link all the themes together. I didnā€™t want a typical plain border, so I used marshland shrubbery and flora to piece one together, further strengthening the themes mentioned previously. I continued the visual elements from the back to the front of the garment, as well as the sleeves to keep everything cohesive. I took a lot of the shrubbery & flora and displayed them down the sleeves with the Wage War emblem, adding the logo to the front Longsleeve with a slightly different composition Like what you saw, please get in touch and letā€™s work together

In honor of seeing @wagewar for the 5th time and meeting them for the 5th time in 32 days im taking it back to see them in Bethleem, PA. Blueprints was the album that started my love for the band when i was obly 15! And when Deadweight came out I was hooked. Manic is by far my favorite album next to Deadweight, but Stigma felt like a brand new Wage War. (Pressure is an album i can TALK ABOUT for a long time šŸ˜…). Now with Landfall out, it has been my new obsession and I cant wait to see them play the songs live! LANDFALL by @wagewar is out now. I couldnā€™t be happier for or prouder of all my friends that worked on this masterpiece of an album. Started working with this band less than a year ago and the artistic milestones Iā€™ve already gotten to sit passengerā€™s seat for have been some of the favorites of my career. Special recognition to @codyquistad for constantly taking on more responsibility than most thought possible for one man- you delivered bro. Everyoneā€™s performance on this was top tier and the best of your bandā€™s career @britonbond @stephenkluesener @uncle @sethblake - deeply appreciative to be a tiny part of your awesome world. Every visual component was stepped up more than ever thanks to the combined vision from @ptracy @easterxdaily @michaelherrick_ @shotbyguap. Between all new branding, each music video, and (my favorite) top tier title cards, you guys gave this band a new look in a way that feels more them than ever before. @willcarlsonaudio @wzrdbld @chrisgehringer @andrewade @mmfkellen all got the memo loud and clear and served up the best Wage album there ever has been Love to @metheens @codydemavivas @andyserrao and everyone else @ Fearless who gave us the runway and latitude to just go try shit and see where we ended up- which thankfully was in a nice spot :-) Grateful to be here and happy for all of yall šŸ„©šŸŠšŸŒ€ā¤ļø
