Turns out frolicking in the forest with my best friends does wonders for my mental health 🫶🏽

I laughed and cried on this hike. My soul was happy.

Brittany @heybritttt is our February member of the month! She is an inspiration to us all, especially all the mamas. She works out with the family in tow and while pregnant! She is a shining example for her son and the importance of teaching healthy strong habits. ⁣
⁣
When did you first start doing CrossFit?⁣
I tried CrossFit for the first time in 2019, but after the pandemic and my first child I didn’t pick it back up again until late 2021. I’ve been at OVCF ever since!⁣
⁣
What is your age?⁣
30 🥳⁣
⁣
What is your favorite CrossFit movement?⁣
Probably a random one, but I really enjoy muscle cleans!⁣
⁣
What is your favorite local restaurant to grab food at?⁣
Buddy Boy’s @buddy_boyspizzeria Pizzeria in Marlboro 😋😋⁣
⁣
What is one goal by the end of the year?⁣
To have a healthy baby and eventually a solid weekly routine with two kids. Fingers crossed.⁣
⁣
What motivates you to keep coming to the gym every week?⁣
Knowing that I’m always getting stronger. It’s not easy, but it makes me happy whenever I’m able to do something I couldn’t do a year prior.⁣
⁣
What is one accomplishment when it comes to your health and fitness that you’ve experienced since starting at Orchard Valley CrossFit?⁣
The fact that I became more committed to OVCF than I have anywhere prior and being stronger/ having more stamina after having a child than I was before. I’ve had way more motivation to give it my all and continue getting stronger every month. ❤️⁣
⁣
What would your advice be to someone just starting out CrossFit or that’s thinking about starting?⁣
Try not to be intimidated! Anything new can be a little awkward and challenging, but it’s worth it to learn. You’ll be really proud of yourself for what your body will eventually be capable of. And don’t forget to track your progress! I can lift more while 7 months pregnant than I could when I first started and that’s been extremely motivating for me.

It’s officially photo sessions at home season 🥹! Brit had a cozy vision for her maternity session that I loved. This session felt so laid back and chill, which is always the vibe I’m going for!
