GREAT time speaking to these young creatives @thegacademy .. I got to share my story, answer a load of great questions, and got them to really take in a piece of music.

DM/Email me if you want me to come into your school/academy/Uni. I’ll be there.

Officially closing this chapter 🥺🧡

I will never truly be able to find the words to explain what this school has done for me but I know that it helped me change my life around, and has given me friends for life.

BRIT School Musical Theatre Class of ‘26 ! 🎭 🎤 💃🏻

It’s very strange and bittersweet to say goodbye to the halls I’ve come back to for four years, but I feel ready to move onto the next chapter :)

This has been such a huge and challenging hurdle to get through but I feel very lucky to have been given the chance to train here - I have met so many inspirational people and learnt so much from my time here.

Thank you to the staff and peers who have believed in me and enabled me to become a person/artist I’m proud of. Your support has helped me reach the finish line and find my voice… through song. 🎶🩵🎤🤞🏻

Double casting this show has added an entirely new layer to my experience and I had the. best. time. performing all this gorgeous, powerful choreography as a worker/ensemble member. I’m so grateful I got the opportunity to perceive the show from this angle and I’m obsessed with our use of a bigger, full ensemble - I feel really strongly that we amplified the important messages written and created something really meaningful. Getting to rework this show set half into a psych ward also allowed me to work with some really interesting character work and links across themes. Two shows was not enough, I wish I could do it all over again.

“Why the struggle, why the strain” for magical experiences like this.

Clotho you’ve taught me about the potential in small ideas and new beginnings and how to approach character work in a strange, meaningful, and symbolic way that I havn’t gotten to do before. This character has genuinely gotten through to me on a spiritual level and playing her on stage was the most surreal and whimsical joy. 🩵

Any way the Wind Blows 🌹🌬️

For the past few months I’ve had the priveledge of being utterly consumed by this beautiful story. I’ve never felt so connected to a project before and have learnt and grown so much with this show. Hadestown was truly a magical experience both to work on and perform and I am forever changed by it. This show has taught me how necesary it is to take risks both with art and in life and I feel so lucky to have worked on a show with such a powerful message so needed in today’s world. Well done everyone, I am immensly proud of what we have created - everyone’s hard work and care was so so worth it.

A real pleasure to be invited to guest workshop leader at @thebritschool this week on behalf of @lipaliverpool, delivering an Acting Through Song masterclass for students interested in our Musical Theatre and Acting (Musicians) programmes.

My focus is always on helping performers rediscover or uncover their autonomy. Technique matters, but so does ownership. The audition room isn't a place to seek permission; it's a place to make bold, informed choices and share your work with confidence, showcasing both where you are now and your potential to train.

The goal is never perfection. It's to communicate with clarity, bravery and authenticity. Ultimately, it all comes down to knowing the story you're telling, and how you choose to tell it.

A huge thank you to @chris_grabham and everyone at @thebritschool for such a warm welcome, and to all of the students for their openness, generosity and willingness to play. Wishing you all the very best with your training and auditions ahead.
