Every song has a story. This one has a testimony. 🔥

Before there was “Sy Naam Is,” there was a young man searching for purpose, identity, and hope.

In this exclusive interview, EMJAY shares the journey behind his debut single, opening up about the moments that shaped him, the battles he faced, and how his relationship with Jesus transformed his life. What began as pain became purpose, and what could have broken him became the testimony behind this song.

“Sy Naam Is” isn’t just music. It’s a declaration of the One who changed everything.

Watch the full interview and discover the heart behind the song.

I was in a place of hopelessness; a place we often forget to say “thank you too”.

That place taught me humility; compassion; love and the sheer act of kindness goes a long way if we do so for the next person.

As my journey continues, my prayer is that each one of us should experience his mercy and grace the lord blesses us with and to know that it is OKAY with NOT BEING OKAY and that our true help comes from the lord.

As you listen to the song, I hope you find comfort in knowing that you have a father in heaven who is always looking out for you.

“We are all broken seeking to be healed”
