I had the privilege of spending a week with @aspenwords last month. It was an amazing crew with @hannahpittard guiding us through the nuances of autofiction. Thankful for this beautiful crew of writers and feeling inspired and ready to finish this literary trilogy. Stay tuned… 😘 Thanks to @adriennebrodeur and the whole Aspen Words crew for a magical week. #literarytrilogy #amwri̇ti̇ng #fiction #autofiction #community

“The Women Who Taught Me to Be a Tradwife. Over Bible-study doughnuts and discipleship-group tea, I learned the rules of submission.” Terribly sad, and sadly common story in the New Yorker by Britt Tisdale. Thankfully she is in a safe place now. Her story highlights the *somewhat* dangerous role other can women play in hierarchical complementarianism by advocating for male headship. Britt’s story might resonate. If it does, please access resources on our website : https://www.fixinghereyes.org/domestic-violence You can hear our founder discuss the tradwife movement as part of the conversation with Neil Johnson last Friday - link in profile Thank you @brittalive for sharing your truth. If you are needing help, please don’t hesitate to call (Australia) 1800 RESPECT or 000 if in immediate danger. https://www.thecut.com/article/the-women-who-taught-me-to-be-a-tradwife.html #fixinghereyes #Jesus #BiblicalEquality #tradwife

I'm a little late on posting about this, but this past weekend full of literary excellence! Thank you to @brittalive and @hlazare for inviting me to be a part of the @norcalwritersretreat reunion gathering at the Waldorf Astoria. It was a beautiful evening for meeting up with fellow writers and friends from the Northern California Writers Retreat. Keeping on theme, it was such a pleasure to meet @xochitltheg at the Montclair Literary Festival @montclair_literary_festival stop on her book tour for "Last Night in Brooklyn." So much fun to see NorCal Writers Retreat author-in-residence @cleyvisnatera at the event. Two legends of the retreat! What a fun weekend! #bookstagram #writersofinstagram #writingcommunity #writersretreat #writerscommunity

I couldn’t stop thinking about Timothée Chalamet. That’s how it started. His portrayal of a young Bob Dylan, rocketing through the Greenwich Village folk scene, haunted me for weeks. A Complete Unknown isn’t just another biopic—it’s a portrait of an artist tapping into a mysterious, creative intelligence far beyond himself. And it made me wonder: If Dylan could access that level of inspiration, could I? Could we? What if the key to creating the life you want—one of purpose, creativity, and fulfillment—lies in understanding how consciousness shapes reality? Explore how the 8 Limbs of Yoga intersect with modern quantum physics, neuroscience, and expressive writing to unlock creativity, shift your mindset, and bring your deepest visions to life.
