There is a lot to be grateful for when we can wake up every day and our bodies allow us to play pickleball with the friends we’ve made on the court.

I have a friend who was pregnant when I first met her at open play, and now her daughter is about to turn 4. I remember her as an infant, sleeping in her stroller on the sidelines, and then as a toddler running after balls and disrupting the rally.

There is something really special about the long-term friendships we make through pickleball. I’ll be lucky to look back in 5 years and know that hasn’t changed.

Flashback to @thetenaishow interviewing my brother @terrellowens as he was in town playing in the @teammillerfoundation Celebrity Pickleball Tournament at @rallypickleball as she got some good insight on his drive to turn people onto the sport. Shout to @brittani_thepro who is his partner on the court too!! #MoreToCome #pickleball 🏁🔌👊🏾🙏🏽🍿🎤

If you get upset with yourself at open play, you're losing the plot.
