🚧 HEADS UP, DREAMBOAT CLIENTS! 🚧 There’s a major I-5 southbound closure coming up, and we want to make sure everyone with an appointment plans ahead! Traffic is expected to be heavier throughout North + Northeast Portland, including surface streets around the salon, as drivers are redirected. A few things to know: ✨ I-5 northbound will remain open ✨ Southbound traffic will be redirected to I-405, with regional traffic encouraged to use I-205 ✨ Southbound on-ramps including Alberta St. + Greeley Ave. will be closed ✨ Expect extra traffic on surrounding North + Northeast Portland streets Even if you don’t normally take I-5 to Dreamboat, please give yourself some extra time to get to your appointment. 🖤 Check your route before you leave, plan ahead, and we’ll see you at the salon! ✨

✨ DREAMBOAT TURNS FIVE! ✨🥂 Come celebrate 5 years of Dreamboat Salon with us TOMORROW NIGHT! 🎉 📍 Dreamboat Salon 🗓 Saturday, August 29 ⏰ 6–10 PM 🎟️ Raffle drawing at 8 PM We have an AMAZING lineup of raffle prizes from local makers and businesses — goods, gift cards, services + so much more. Raffle tickets are $10 each, and 100% of raffle proceeds will be donated to the Oregon Region of the American Red Cross to support wildfire relief. ❤️ Come for the raffle, stay for the party: ✨ Snacks + drinks 🎶 Music 🎤 Possibly some post-raffle karaoke 👀 🥂 Celebrating five incredible years! Free bang trims at Kenton Street Fair tomorrow, Sunday 8/16 💓 Swing by our booth 10am-6pm on the east side of N Denver, between N Kilpatrick and N McClellan, and we’ll clean up your bangs, no charge — just come find us in Kenton! We’re raising donations for Friends of Ours PDX, a local nonprofit started by our neighbor Terrance Moses. They show up for the most vulnerable folks across North, Northeast, and inner Southeast Portland — mobile showers, a mobile clothing unit, free lunch, a food pantry, home and yard maintenance, holiday meals — all rooted in the belief that everyone deserves food, clothing, and shelter. We choose to support them every year through the fair. Can’t make it in person? You can still chip in — Venmo @dreamboatsalon and every dollar goes straight to Friends of Ours. 🤝💓 See you in the neighborhood tomorrow ✨
