Empty shelf to fully styled in 30 seconds!

While our everyday plates and glasses live on another set of open shelves, this spot is reserved purely for displaying pieces that make me happy.

A few simple rules I follow:

- Stick to a cohesive palette: Layer tones that naturally complement each other (I love blues, greens, warm creams, and browns).

- Vary your heights: Play with elevation so the eye naturally wanders up and down across the shelf rather than across a flat line.

- Add life & vintage: Bring in character with vintage finds and a touch of greenery, whether that’s a potted geranium like I have, a bud vase of fresh flowers, or small vintage artwork well clear of any cooking splatters.

- Keep it intentional: Pick items that feel at home in a kitchen space, even if they aren’t everyday essentials, so the display feels curated rather than cluttered.

And it’s never set in stone, so swap things out and have fun with it!

Save this for the next time your shelves need a refresh 🤎

P.s. top and skirt are from @oakmeadowclothing

A colour-drenching masterclass from @brittneyschulz.art

@taylor.aung’s lemonade stand sign in Lemon Gloss has us all nostalgic for our childhoods.

@dailey_and_parker thanks for the reminder—Burl wood and cheetah print are a perfect combination.

Dark wood and bright gingham. The perfect home for @marblelbs_cake__ road trip keepsakes.

There are certain moments when a home quietly comes alive, and golden hour is one of them. 🌅

Linen begins to glow, natural wood is rich with warmth, and even the simplest corners take on a new sense of character. A reminder that thoughtful design considers how a home will change throughout the day and creates moments that invite you to slow down and simply enjoy it. 🍸

It’s not often I get to do projects in my own home these days but when I do, it’s pretty special! 🤎 I redesigned our mudroom to add cabinetry and make it more functional for our family. I got to work with some great people along the way too!

It’s got all of my favorite things - color, pattern, old, new, form, and function. Best of all, it’s authentic to us. Full video tour coming soon!

We had so much fun working with @staytimberandstone on furniture and decor for these two beautiful modern cabins in the North Georgia mountains near Dahlonega.

Our goal was to create simple, intentional spaces where guests feel unhurried and inspired.

We took great care in selecting lighting, throw pillows and blankets, glassware, and artwork, to bring story and soul to the space.

Original artwork from @farmette.co and @brittneyschulz.art brings warmth and story to the walls. Vintage finds sourced from Dahlonega’s local shops add layers of history. And works from @bleu.gallery.ga ground each cabin in something genuinely local.

Took these while the house was looking nice after our shoot this week with the lovely @hannahpuechmarin! I’ve seen her proofs and they are so beautiful, can’t wait to share!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

P.s. I’ve tagged the sources I can on each shot 🖤
