I have been trying to put into words the amount of love and gratitude that was reciprocated from guuding yoga at Yahn Dawn @prettylights festival in Buena Vista. This was hands down the most impactful experience of my life. I am blown away from the community and family that showed up to share space and exist together in unity. Guiding pranayama, meditation & yoga on such a large scale was the honor of my lifetime.

When I started my 200 hour training I set out to heal because I was in a very dark and isolating place in my life. I needed help and yoga saved me in so many ways, I knew it was my purpose to share what I learned. I felt called to help people on an elevated level.
To heal from the inside out, not alone. I always envisioned teaching at a festival because it was a way to give back to my community and hopefully make and impact and change lives.
To be apart of something bigger than myself.

I was able to to that and soooo much more thanks to @seeirenejones for seeing my vision and believing in me. You're the real mvp💕🫶🙏🏽 shout out to all the other wellness facilitators who showed up and shared their gifts with the world. The sound bath experiences after the festival each night were next fckn level. Yogis, healers & visionaries. The whole set up was incredible.
And shout out to my dear friend, assist and fellow yogi Ally @eartyal_ for sharing your healing touch and sound. I couldn't have done it without you!💜

Thank you, thank you, thank you from the depths of my heart & soul. I hear you & I see you. I already can't wait for next year.
@prettylightsportal @meadowcreekcolorado Until then, keep riding that rainbow prism of love🌈
Continue to show up for yourself and show compassion, understanding & grace.
Remember we are all just specks of star dust in the universe whos souls are experiencing the human existence.
Be kind, have fun and do the damn thing cause none of us are getting out alive! So might as well live to the fullest capacity now🌌🧘‍♀️🪩🕉

Many many blessings,
Jules

Enjoyed Labor Day weekend with some big rocks! 25 miles, 2 summits, and 9,800ft of elevation gain well spent!! Longs Peak marked my 10th summit of the season, making this the most successful 14er season I’ve ever had! Hoping to finish the Sawatch before snow rolls in🫡

July has been spent chasing wildflowers!!! All the flowers have been popping off, making the high alpine even more spectacular✨✨ Hiking stats for the year are currently sitting at over 40,000ft of gain and 185 miles (and counting)!! Taking a lil break to visit Canada, and excited to chase 14ers next😈

Post trail photo dumppp
1. @astralfootwear HEMP fit. This exact purple shade and sooo comfy!!💜🤩
2. Drove through a blizzard with five hikers and a golden retriever to make it to @ash.flow.er’s baby shower in time🐝
3. To see my bestie angels all in one place immediately after finishing trail😭 can’t wait to be Tia Lolo!!
4. And then surprise! Or should I say… GOOD NEWS. My bestie Shelby surprises me in Denver and we got to see one of our favorite bands play one of our favorite albums of all time all the way through😮‍💨 @modestmouse
5-6. Maurice Sendak @denverartmuseum exhibit, extraordinary. I loved learning more about this incredibly gifted, gay, Polish-Jewish man who lost several family members to the Holocaust and found his calling in children’s books that have a dark but real nature to them without shying away from difficult topics such as death. One of my favorite books was Where the Wild Things Are growing up. 100/10😭
7. My bestie BL’s cat Naya and I go back 10 years now, I’m so grateful I get to live with her/them now!! I missed having a cat around and it’s doing wonders for my mental health to have “permanent-ish” housing again after 8+ months of on-the-go constant limbo.
8. Weird flex but ok. I’m the strongest I’ve ever felt and so weak right now that I’m not hiking anymore. I’ve never been keen at showing my skin, but lately I just don’t care to hide. My body is balancing and readjusting to normal life again, and I love it.
9. By the miracle of Michael I caught the last red rocks show of the season, and my # 2 top artist of the year @ofthetreesmusic
10-13. Dallas family visit, can’t describe it but, hug your family yall. Grateful my mom’s okay and we still have time.
14. Thanks baby bruder @ttula_photo for this impeccable gift from Switzerland.
15-18. Fam/Friends/Cousinsgiving with best hosts ever @andreadom_ / @amandacolbertt my marketing guru💜
19. 🍪 party fun
20. ARTcade!! 100 Local Artists created Arcade games 🔥

Fall🍂 in one of the most legendary places in America🇺🇸 — a last minute send, scenic ⛰️mountain drive, and scoring the last open campsite in the dark with @carlsadair = the best way to end an amazing season of leaf peeping 👀
