Meet Elana King 🫖✨ One of my newest clients and a true passion project. 💛 Elana creates some of the most beautiful and remarkable teas for events, but what really drew me in was the soul, heart, and intention behind her brand. She didn’t need to become someone else. She simply needed a little push and some direction to bring the vision that was already inside of her to life. And to every woman who has been thinking about launching that thing God placed on your heart… I understand the hesitation. I understand the anxiety that comes with doing something new, investing in yourself, and putting a vision into the world before you know exactly where it will take you. But I truly believe some of the greatest things are waiting on the other side of our YES. This brand shoot was just the beginning, and I’m so excited to watch Elana and Here to Pour continue to blossom into everything they’re meant to be. 🌱 Here’s to the vision. Here’s to the journey. Here’s to saying yes. Her new website is launching soon, and we have so much more to come.

If you guys know me, you know I’m passionate about photos and videos in almost every capacity possible. Even if all I have is my phone I’m going to capture it. 🙏🏽 I’m obsessed with making time stand still and being able to hold onto a moment through a photo or video. So imagine meeting someone who has that same kind of passion just expressed differently. I love seeing someone else enjoy the planning and the details. Moving something two inches because it doesn’t feel right 🤣 changing it 😬 stepping back changing it again 😩 and watching an idea slowly become what you saw in your head when you couldn’t even put it into words. I think that’s the thing about being an artist. The parts most people rush through because they just want to see the end result are usually the parts we enjoy the most. We both love the process just as much as we love seeing it all come together. So when you come into Brixroom this holiday season I want you to think about this post. Think about the time the intention the thought and the heart that went into creating these sets. I don’t want you to just come in take your pictures and be like “Kyra did her thing.” 😂 (I mean I am gone do that 💅) But I want y’all to think about the other artist behind what you see too. Her name is Jasmine. @jas.rose.events And I can’t wait for y’all to see what we’ve been working on.

Confessions Of A Bride | After The Altar Ep3: P H O T O G R A P H Y 📸 When I tell you photography will be one of the most important decisions you will make within your wedding planning process!… I’m so for real. The photos and videos are what last a lifetime. Whenever you want to relive that day and look back… that’s all you have other than the rent free memories that live in your head. I have to give a shout out to @kyraanddeeweddings for capturing all of our special moments together. From our engagement photos & video… to the wedding… all the way to our first holidays as a married couple. They caught it all🥹 If you’re looking to save money while planning your wedding…. DO NOT skimp on the photo/video aspect from your day. It will reflect and you will be upset. Point blank. I’ve seen way too many horror stories of people trying to save a buck and then hating their photos after. To my already wifeys… who did you use for your photographers/videographers!? Drop them below 👇🏽 #reels #wedding #photography #relatable
