Senior Sunday : Drama Edition 🎭

I know this is late but I didn’t get a chance to post this yesterday. I had my very last high school show last night at the Orpheum Theater. I played Gabriella for two shows and a wildcat for the other two! This show turned out SO GOOD and I am proud of everyone that was part of this and made this show happen!

I started theater my junior year, and I didn’t know how much I would love it! I was scared, unsure, and I didn’t think I was capable of doing it, but I ended up coming out of my shell this year, and I made a lot of new friends. Drama to me is more than a club. It’s a place where I can be myself. This program helped me in a lot of ways, and I ended up gaining so much confidence in myself, such as overcoming my fear of crowds, which is a big one for me and honestly didn’t think was possible.

To my drama group, thank you for these last two years, especially this year. You guys have been so loving and supportive! Thank you for all the excitement, memories, laughs, tears, and experience!! Thank you for helping me come out of my comfort zone and for believing in me when I didn’t believe in myself!
I love you all so much and I’m going to miss doing this with you guys!

Seniors, this is it! We did our very last show together and I couldn’t be more proud of us! We all worked so hard this year and accomplished so many great things! I love you guys so much and I’m excited to see what the future holds for all of you guys!

One last thing! Today I found out some amazing news! I who played Gabriella Montez and another student got nominated to participate in the Discovery Awards!! So excited and honored!

Thank you to everyone who has been supportive of our drama program!!

Gabriella Montez/wildcat, signing out! 🌸👋

And just like that, our first musical is over with. from finding out what the show would be, our auditorium flooding, losing people along the way and having to pick different people 3 weeks before the show, to our final bows. i actually couldn’t ask for a better team than my favorite wildcats! so many ups, so many downs, but everyone involved in this process made every moment be so special. nothing could ever replace the memories i made on that stage, not even a concussion from a baseball bat. jack scott signing out! until next year ❤️🤍
