Thursday 10/30 (2016 vs. 2020) - Students and teachers would embody the trends that were rising around these times! *2016: Coachella was just beginning to rise in popularity, music was at its all-time highest, Tumblr was on the rise, and combat boots, Chelsea boots, skinny jeans, vivid red flannels, bomber jackets, and quirky emoji graphic tees were dominating teenagers’ closets! *2020: Although everyone was locked in their homes, several styles gained attention on TikTok, such as the following: - Alt-Aesthetic: Hyperpop music scene or anime show. - Indie-Aesthetic: Vivid colors with occasional patterns, baggy jeans, and argyle sweaters! - VSCO-Aesthetic: Very basic, with normal jeans (perhaps skinny jeans), basic tees, staple sweatshirts, and always carry their Hydro Flask and scrunchie.
