**Please keep in mind that these are just highlights of my year and social media rarely (if ever) paints the full picture. We’ve had our fair share of hard times and let downs in 2024, as everyone has. Please don’t compare your life to other’s shiniest moments.**

Year in review:
I love traveling and exploring and I’ve done more of that this year than any other (from Alaska to Arizona, Bali to Mexico - a few times 😉) but my being is craving some roots.
Our 15 year old cat has been teaching me so much about slowing down and being present lately. I love “going” but I’m also learning to fall in love with being wherever I’m at.
I’m grateful for all the experiences 2024 brought and my heart is full as I reflect on the most precious adventures but I’m looking forward to decelerating in certain areas in 2025.

I do feel like I received two huge cheat codes this year: One being somatic practice (dancing like a psycho with my headphones on at home alone/getting weird/intuitive on my yoga mat) and the second has been breath practice. Specifically #breathoffire. This breath practice always stressed me out but this year it has unlocked major stuck energy for me. I don’t know why it’s taken 12 years, but I feel like I finally get it. I can ground deep into the earth and blastoff into outer space with that breath practice alone.

I’ve never done the “word of the year” thing and last night I was thinking that I might choose the word “Surrender” but when I looked up the definition (“cease resistance to an enemy or opponent and submit to their authority”) it didn’t feel right. I don’t feel like the power I would be “surrendering” to is an enemy or opponent. I’m instead choosing the word “Release” (“allow or enable to escape from confinement; set free. Allow something to move, act, or flow freely”)

My 2025 work is in releasing control over what I think my life should look like. To learn to let life and opportunities come to me. To still work hard & move forward with integrity but to strive to be in the flow vs chasing success, achievements, milestones, etc.
To attract, trust, let go and receive.🤍

With curiosity and hope, cheers to 2025 🥂✨
