July 2025 - Family Backpacking up the country beyond our back yard. Akash caught us some brookies for dinner the first night. Saw some bear marks, ducks, deer, elk and whistle pigs.. but no other humans! Climbed to the Castle and peeked over to see our beautiful valley below. Swipe to the end for telling before and after shots of our sweet days in the backcountry 🤍

Finally getting around to sharing what we've been up to these past few years (in our "free time")... building another home! This time, our already partially built log cabin, plus a covered deck and bedroom addition. It was indeed a labor of love- and like any proper building project, we enjoyed lots of challenges, setbacks and budget surprises along the way. We were finally able to move in a few months ago.. and have since been reaquainting ourselves with some actual "free time" again. We're really pleased with how it all came together - and so thankful for all of the help from fam and friends along the way - you know who you are! 🤍

Hello paonia and beyond…
I need help.

There is this really nice wonderful lady -Emily- who has brought to our town a bookstore…
I have built lots of bookshelves …. to shelf …so to speak, all the books that will fill the store.
I am… YES behind.. and am indeed at the mercy of four days…. Mon, Tues, Wends,Thursday!
I need to put fancy wood trim pieces on the fronts of these bookshelves and paint screw holes and such and I’m going to need all the help I can find.. I am in need of trim carpenters, painters, artist, artisans, craftsmen, sculptors, is anyone from nasa ,helpers of any sort would be more than ….i dont even have words…I am close ….but there are more things than I can possibly get done without some considerably quick efficient help from my friends… I AM ALREADY THANKFUL AND GRATEFUL TO ANYONE THAT COULD LEND A HAND THIS WEEK…this building means a lot to me and I want to finish up strong…I’m talking like flash mob…BOOM DONE!!orchestrated completion!
If you are available get ahold of me at 970-424-9081 or right here on this page….i need to last minute plan accordingly.
