Tony Cummins @tony_c_soundmaster keeps posting wedding dj bathroom selfies, so naturally I had to get in on that action again.

Big thanks to Elevate Entertainment for bringing me out to Missouri for tonight’s wedding!

But can we talk about these black velvet loafers? I traveled across state lines in these things and nobody said a word.

I’m not saying I need validation, but I’m also not NOT saying that. 👞😂

FINAL CLUE! At this point, some of you probably know exactly who we're talking about. 🔍

Our speaker has spent decades behind the decks. He's DJed a championship celebration. He's shared the stage with Cardi B and Diplo, DMC and Guns n Roses. He's worked alongside some of the biggest names in music and entertainment.

And tomorrow...we finally tell you who is joining us in Medellín.

Last chance. Who's your guess?

Alright, here’s your next clue...

🎤 Clue #2: He’s shared the stage with people whose names you definitely know.

Still have a guess? We’re getting warmer. 👇

Our 2027 speaker has been behind the decks for more than three decades.

Before Instagram, before TikTok, before streaming. Before DJs were building personal brands online.

And somehow...he's still finding ways to push the industry forward.

Any new guesses? 👀 Tell us who you think it is.

We’ve officially locked in our guest speaker for The Retreat 2027, and this one is worth having a little fun with.

We could just tell you. But where’s the fun in that?

Over the next few days, we’re dropping clues. Some obvious. Some ridiculously obscure. Put them together and see if you can figure out who’s joining us in Medellín.

First clues:
👟 The shoe collection is serious.
🌶️ Buffalo sauce matters more than it probably should.
😂 Impractical Jokers is in the rotation.

More clues tomorrow.

The conversations between the sessions have a funny way of becoming just as important as the sessions themselves.

Broc Barton (front) and Loren Miller (Back). Two DJC alums. Two guys who probably weren’t talking about the weather.

Come back enough years and you stop just recognizing faces. You build actual relationships.

That part has always mattered to us.
