YOU SPIN ME ROUND 🪩🕺

This year, I really wanted to push myself creatively with my choreography. I’ve completely fallen back in love with sharp, clean jazz, and I honestly couldn’t get enough of creating this piece.

I’ve always loved this song, and I loved the idea of making something that simply makes people feel good. Not everything has to have a deep meaning for you to feel a genuine connection to it, and that’s exactly how I feel about this routine.

I wanted to create one big ’80s club night. a world where the girls and the guys are having the absolute best time, leaving all the negativity at the door, and just living in the moment.

I’m so incredibly proud of what I’ve created, and I truly couldn’t have done it without my amazing cast. Their commitment, dedication, and trust helped bring this entire vision from my head to the stage, and I’ll always be grateful for that.

A massive thank you to @markopanzic and @ausdancefest for having me back this year it truly means the absolute world. Thank you for letting us creatives have an outlet to share, be vulnerable and grow as choreographers.

A little behind the scenes before tomorrow night for @ausdancefest

I’ve had so much bloody fun creating this piece with my incredible cast over the past few months.

I’m so excited for everyone to finally see what we’ve been working so hard on. This piece is a little reminder that life doesn’t always have to be so serious! Sometimes the best thing you can do is let go, have fun, and enjoy the moment.

Massive thank you to @markopanzic and the @ausdancefest team that put this event together. thank you for letting new creatives have a space to create and try new things and explore new ideas.
