MMA classes keep growing 👑

We offer Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu and Wrestling classes, and dedicated MMA classes where we put it all together.

MMA means more than training each art separately. You have to learn how they connect, and what changes when strikes, takedowns and submissions are all in play. That’s what we teach here.

Come train with us. Beginners welcome. First class is free, DM us or book through the link in our bio.

MMA is not a preset combination. The defense chooses the next attack.

Jab, cross, level change. From there, the defender gives one of two reactions at random:

High guard → finish the double leg.

Level change or sprawl → come back with the rear uppercut, hook, cross.

The attacker has to recognize the reaction and choose the right answer in real time. Striking creates the wrestling, and the takedown threat opens the striking.

This is how we train MMA at Kings MMA Austin.

If you’re in Austin and want to train, book your free trial through the link in our bio. Serious beginners and experienced competitors are welcome.

Which reaction is harder to read: the high guard or the level change?

Not the ending I wanted, but definitely the beginning of something. First competition done, big lessons learned, and even bigger motivation to come back better. Grateful for my teammates and coach.🥋🔥
