Little paws, a little nail care… and a whole lot of love. 🐾❤️ Meet my lovely groomer. I visit her regularly for my nail trims, but today I want to give her something back: a little appreciation for her enormous heart. 🥹 She’s always there for others and does so much to help dog shelters and the precious dogs waiting for a family of their own. Her kindness reaches far beyond her grooming table. 🤍 So this one’s for you, my lovely friend. I invited my friend over, and she made herself VERY comfortable on my daddy’s lap. 🤭🐾 Now Mommy’s lost her husband, and I’m waiting in line for my own daddy. 😂 But honestly? I understand. He has the gentlest hands, the warmest cuddles, and always room in his heart for one more little dog. POV: Okay… apparently the zoomies are cancelled. 😂 Daphne’s zoomies were in full swing… until I called a little meeting. 😂🐾 After watching her go completely bonkers for a few minutes, I jumped after her and gave one little grumble. “Daphne, darling… I think we’ve all had enough cardio.” 😌 I lay down. 42 cameras… and none of them were there for us?! 📸🐾😂 Today, Daphne and I joined Mommy on a little adventure to Manometric, where she had her hand scanned for new custom braces. 🤍 Their special Mano-X scanner uses 42 cameras at exactly the same time! In a fraction of a second, they capture Mommy’s hand from different angles, and the pictures are combined into a detailed 3D model. Pretty clever, even by Iggy standards! ✨ We supervised everything, showed off our outfits, and made sure Mommy had her little support team close by. 🐾 One racing girl and one little Bambi, reporting for duty! 🏎️🦌 But with the rain pouring down outside, we were soon ready for our next appointment… The sofa. I went to Vodafone with my pawrents… and a little surprise followed me home in the post! 📦🥹❤️ Mini Bro came straight over to help investigate. A little welcome for a very special visitor. 🐾🤍 My sweet friend Fardoe came to visit with her human, Jaap. First, I welcomed her, and then, of course, Jaap needed a proper Iggy greeting too! 🥰 At 12½ years old, Fardoe is deaf and blind, so she takes her time finding her way around. Jaap brought her own little cushion, and watching her find it and settle into her familiar cosy spot was such a precious moment. 🥹🤍 We spent the loveliest afternoon together, with plenty of time to sniff, rest and simply enjoy each other’s company. Some goodbyes leave a little more worry in your heart. 🤍 Our precious Bro is back home in Limoges after such a lovely week together—a week filled with cuddles, little adventures and the comfort of being close again. Knowing he heard alarms yesterday made my heart ache. Having already lived through war and the upheaval of being rehomed, he has been through so much. I wish we could explain to him that those frightening sounds don’t mean his past is happening again. Sometimes I catch a worried look in his beautiful eyes, and I wish love could erase every frightening memory. We cannot change his past, but we can surround him with gentle moments, patience and countless reasons to trust. Sweet Bro, I hope you’re resting peacefully tonight, tucked up close to Carole who deeply loves you. Market day in Nieuwkoop! 🐾🐟 Everyone follows their nose at the market… but mine was telling me to leave! 🥺 The frying smells near the fish stall were a little too much for this sensitive Iggy lady. Smoke, cigarette smells and BBQ fumes aren’t my favourite things either. 🙈 Pawpaw, however, had his eyes on the fish! He picked up kibbeling, herring and two lovely tuna steaks from Leen de Jong.
